Hidden: 13-Year-Old Golfer Dakoda Dowd Opens Play: I know we talked about this earlier in the week but I thought I'd add an update as to how she was doing so far today. It looks like she is going to be the real deal in the future. We all might be saying, "Michelle who?" In a world full of athletes who bring so much negativity to the sports world, it is nice to see a story that makes everyone feel good.

Man that thing they had on ESPN the other day pretty much made this grown man cry. She is going to be awesome no matter what...and pretty hot too.

I hope she plays up to her own expectations, that is all that matters really, her score is just a footnote, and her mother will be pleased with whatever number she posts.

and pretty hot too Ew. She's 13, for chrissakes. Can we keep the hormones in check for a few years?

You can't tell me that you don't see she will be beautiful in 5 or 6 years. I'm not "that guy in the schoolyard", c'mon give me a little credit. She has a great swing too, she will be giving Wie(also hot soon) and Sorenstam(used to be hot) a run for their money.

the combination of calling a 13 year old (7th grade) hot and the dude's bio which states "always happy to meet nice single pretty young ladies" is a bit disturbing.

You can't tell me that you don't see she will be beautiful in 5 or 6 years. You can't tell me that commenting on how she looks now or speculating on how she looks in the future has anything to do with golf, or how she plays it. It's been literally decades now in the United States that people -- women, mostly -- have been commenting on the weirdness and problematic nature of female athletes' appearance always, always, always being raised whenever they are discussed. It's a bizarre practice, and while it's no longer every individual who makes such comments, it still shows up, without fail, in any open forum where female athletes are discussed. It's strange to me that this weird behavior has persisted for so long after people first pointed out just how broken it is.
