Dallas does what its best at. Building the good-old boys' network.: The Dallas Stars open up their own country club and give all the current season-ticket holders free membership. Now that's how you market a team to people who aren't (yet) fans, but have a lotta cash.

Corporate luxury boxes have long been catered to, more so than the average fan, so this seems par for the course(believe it or not, no pun intended). And I think its kinda cool to be able to play and maybe see a player on the course.

Wouldn't a team strip club be more appropriate in the NBA?

A team strip club would be more appropriate in any pro sport.

The amenities for Stars fans at American Airlines Center in Dallas are without a doubt the best I have ever experienced as a fan. Add on this perk and it makes the Stars a great deal for the fan with serious bucks. Tangent: The Robert Dedman mentioned in the article also has a hospital named after him. One time I called it for a news story and a woman answered, "Dedman Hospital -- this is Nurse Doom."
