The Dallas Stars have acquired one of those players you completely hate until he's on your team: Claude Lemieux.

Speaking for all the Red Wings fans, I highly doubt we could ever have anything but hatred for Clod...even if the Wings stooped so low as to acquire him...

Speaking for all Devils fans, I agree completely. I love/hate Clode.

...even if the Wings stooped so low as to acquire him... Ha ha hee. Woo-hoo. Ahhh. *wipes tears* That was a good one! The likelihood of that happening is about the same as Osama bin Laden being elected President of the United States.

Speaking as a Stars fan, I still hate the guy. But it was fun when he was cheap-shotting the Red Wings with the Avs.

Speaking as a habs fan, I hated him when he was on my team. I still remember him going down like a soccer player for the 20th time, and even the trainer took his sweet ass time getting out there. I knew then that he was outta there.

Sometimes he's even hated by his own teammates and coach, just ask the Avs and Marc Crawford.

Another player who fell into this category was Deion Sanders. As a Cowboys fan, I loathed the guy when he went to the 49ers and contributed to their NFC championship game victory over the Pokes. Then he signed with Dallas. To my eternal shame I became a fan. Only now, as I look back, can I recognize what an overrated, sanctimonious, showboating phony he was during the years in Dallas. Still like him a little, though.
