Falcons QB Michael Vick Indicted on Federal Charges; somewhat of a surprise, given that two weeks ago, most legal pundits familiar with the case said it was unlikely that Vick would face charges. Vick and three others are charged with violating federal laws against competitive dog fighting, procuring and training pit bulls for it and conducting the enterprise across state lines. The indictment alleges that Vick and his co-defendants began dog fighting in early 2001, the former Virginia Tech star's rookie year with the Falcons.

Chris Simon cheap shot (via YouTube). The clothesline with the stick to Hollweg's face put the Rangers on the PP, allowing them to capitalize and score the GW goal. There has been talk on sports radio this morning that they would like to see Simon suspended into next year.

It was sick watching a guy trying to end another players career and possibly his life......he will get the rest of the year off including the playoffs......what was even sicker was watching the idiot Islander fans applauding Simon as he skated off the ice.......it says a lot about people today......

Add another blown call to the officials.I just saw the highlights on sportscenter....When Joey Porter sacked Peyton on 4th down play, he ripped his helmet off in the end zone...thats a no no, should have been 15 yds...They called Vanderchoke for taking his helmet off...I hope these officials never see the field again...I think WALMART is hiring......

Enough about Peyton....Let's give some credit to Roethlisberger...2 Years...2 AFC Championship games...not bad for a guy just finishing up his 2nd year...I bet there a lot of teams that wished they would have taken him now.

Tough break for the bengals....you never want to see a player get hurt....but the hit was not intentional......he was blocked into Palmer.....Keep your heads up Bengals Fans you have many good years ahead of you!!!!!

I think everyone is missing the fact that this took place back in 2002....doesn't say much for our society....This isn't a black or white issue......it's a stupidity issue....Vick falls into the category of the rich athlete that has nothing better to do with his time and money, hanging around the wrong people.
