Redick tops Morrison for AP player of year J.J. Redick, whose 3-point shooting led Duke to a No. 1 ranking for most of the season, was selected the national player of the year by The Associated Press on Friday.

Brackets trashed around the country. Although some people might of picked George Mason to upset Michigan State and even make the sweet sixteen, most were crying foul after they made the tournament over Hofstra. The Patriots have now proved everyone wrong as they have become the first mid-major to make the tournament after beating Connecticut in a huge upset today.

Vanderjagt to Cowboys It was well expected; there was some speculation Vanderjagt might go to the Pats, but so much for that theory.

T.O. in Big D Terrell Owens has reached an agreement in principle to join the Dallas Cowboys. The signing comes six years after he showed contempt for the franchise by spiking two touchdowns on the star at the midfield of Texas Stadium, the second of which resulted in George Teague drawing the most beloved unsportsmanlike conduct foul in Cowboys history.

It all starts up front, if you follow the Cowboys all you have to do is go back from the play where "O" lineman, Adams was lost for the year, from that moment on Bledsoe went from the top rated passer in the NFC to maybe somewhere in the Mid. of the pack But with a healthy "O" line and TO, Dallas can become one of the best Offenses in the NFC, mind you if J. Jones shows a little heart and can make it throw a season without getting hurt or maybe one of the other backs such as Barber will take over and if the "D" doesn't change there game plan in the last 5 min. of a game to had over wins and to give me and all Cowboys fans near heart attacks week in and week out but as far as TO getting doubled every play that's nothing new and who's to say that Dallas won't resign K. Johnson now that they don't have to pay him that Million dollar bonus.

Hey chuck'n'duck it's me sonicdog, I agree with a lot of your points like your comment about Landry, (I'm still pissed about that one) and I've been a Cowboys fan since the day I was born in 1960 the same year the Cowboys came into the league. All I know is that this is a different NFL then when I was a kid and your right about free agency, salary cap and not being able to form relationships and develop players like the good old days, (damn I miss them days) but it's like that no matter what team you like and I'm just glad that I Like the greatest team in the history of team sports and that's THE DALLAS COWBOYS. And my comment about the Niners is true they are the biggest fair weather fans in the NFL and I'm proud to be a long time Cowboys fan with you. GO COWBOYS

Hey, "chuck'n'duck" here's a team for you the 49er's, there a bunch of band wagon jumpers just like you and I should know I live in NorCal and let me tell you I NEVER hardly ever see Niner Gear around here but I have seen a lot of New England and now Steeler gear so do me a favor and jump on that band wagon.

As a huge Cowboys fan, Dallas has bigger needs then at wideout, as "Grrrlacher" failed attempt at humor tried to state, he did make some great points like the need for a couple of new "O" lineman and some one to coach them up are huge needs and a kicker that doesn't suck would be great as well. PS. if Parcells can handle the likes of LT he will have no trouble with Owens because if TO screws up this time he will be playing in Canada.
Korea beats USA In a 7-3 loss, the Koreans exploited some key flaws in team USA's armor...surprised? I think not.

The USA team needs to pull there heads out of there ass, it seems to me that we have all these professional leagues with the highest payed players in the world and we tell the world that we're the best with our NBA WORLD CHAMPS and our MLB WORLD CHAMPS but when it comes time to prove it we are coming up short lately but there's always the excuses like we didn't send are best or it's spring training or what ever but you know what they say about excuses. My hats are off to the players who commented there time and energy to represent our great country so good luck to team USA but please pull your heads out of yours ass, PLEASE...............
Canada 8, United States 6 Kind of an upset(sarcastic). The US actually has a chance to be eliminated.

Can anyone tell me why you would leave Willis in so long? he was clearly off. I think that the whole game was poorly managed and by blowing that game there's a good chance that team USA won't get out of the first round, keep your eye on Mexico bagging if there up by a run or two in the ninth.

Why is it that every time we crown the NBA or MLB winners we call them "World Champs", when the rest of the world doesn't look at it like that? What a joke, if we are the best at these sports in the world when are we going to prove it? How about when it REALLY counts like in a "TRUE WORLD TOURNAMENT" of some kind.
Shit, fan. Fan, shit From a physiological standpoint, in Bond's case, you can't improve his coordination when it applies to making contact with the ball; however, everything that happens after that is directly affected by the use of steroids. Will baseball fans, 50 or 100 years from now, remember or know that he used steroids? I don't really care. He knows and has to live with that fact the rest of his probably abbreviated life.

byrdman822, let me guess you're from the bay area right? because I live here in NorCal and that's like the text book answer always given from Giants fans around here. Give me a break, everyone knows Bonds and a lot of others in baseball have done this but that doesn't make it right and for the good of the game if they have to throw some or all the records out then so be it or what they should really do is do what they would do to me or you if we commented a felony and that's throw there ass in prison and then I promise you that that would clean up this mess faster than anything.

Another Star Falls To Staroids Bret Boone retires at Mets camp Bret Boone retired Wednesday at New York Mets camp, the culmination of a swift decline for a player who was one of baseball's best second basemen only a few years ago. He missed New York's first intrasquad game Tuesday because of personal reasons, and said he woke up Wednesday morning with a decision that was "crystal clear.''

Baseball is tainted forever because of this. The one sport we had with some real history will never be the same and for what? the all mighty dollar thats what. So when Barry passes the Babe won't you just wonder a little bit how many the Babe would have hit if he was on the "juice" instead of the bottle?
Who cares Morrison will be a much better pro and "Pabo" is right they both cried and it should have been a tie.
