Detroit Tigers Reach World You-Can't-Be-Serious A bottom-of-the-ninth three run homer by Magglio Ordonez sent the Tigers past the Oakland A's and into the World Series for the first time since 1984. To put this into perspective, the Tigers had one winning season the past 13 years and lost 119 games in 2003.

Thank you Tigers! Bless you Boys! let's do this like 1984

Lions' assistant coach arrested for driving in the buff, among other things. Giving the term "naked bootleg" a whole new meaning, Detroit Lions' assistant coach Joe Cullen has been arrested twice in the past two weeks, once for "driving on a public street without any clothes on."

Wallace and the taste of his own words. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Pistons fan, but (except for Broardway Joe) how often does guaranteeing a game work? Should players keep their mouths shut sometimes?

Although the 'Guaran'Sheed' is getting dragged out Pistons will take the East again. Hats off to the Cavs I love a good series!

Strapping on the knee pads. Apparently the Knicks have officially given up on this season. I'm hoping they buy a full page ad in the NYT with this message.

Cheerleader continues cheering after breaking neck I couldn't find the video for this but her fall was kind of scarey. It was cool to see her cheering as they were rolling her out of the arena. Tough girl.

Remember the last time the Clips were 11 games over .500? That's right, you don't. They've never been. Unless you remember them as the Buffalo Braves. (Poor Raptors, making hoops history for LA franchises yet again)

Are the New York Knicks making a comeback? The Knicks pulled a 105-94 win over the Hawks on Friday night making it six wins in a row. The win was No. 1000 in coach Larry Brown's career, making him the fourth coach to reach that milestone.

Highly doubt it, still real teams make their run after all-star break.
