'The Easiest, Fastest Way to Become a High School Graduate'

He musta been hanging out in LA. I think he said "you know what I'm saying 100 times" So if someone says "you know what I'm saying" that makes them stupid? How, exactly? You know what I'm saying?

New LA teams

Oh and its really amazing that its 2005 and there are still people out there who dont realize the Onion is a comedy site. Granted, it jumped the shark about a few years ago, and the sports section is just plain not funny, but it IS the most successful comedy site in the history of the internet.

New LA teams

"Plus, the intricate L.A. highway system will cut team travel time by almost 25 percent," Washington added. Yeah, the freeways (thats what they're actually called) have a lot of traffic. Good one. 1986 called, it wants its stand-up routine back. we do not a bunch of millionare criminal athletes here The Rush Limbaugh show called. It wants its incoherent, borderline racist discourse back.

Is Reggie Bush #1 draft choice calaber?

UT can beat the Texans Today. Silly. The Texans or any pro team would beat any college team by at least 60-70 points. perhaps you meant it as hyperbole, but I get a little sick of stuff like this- you usually hear it re: basketball, with the subtext of "those plucky white kids could use their hustle to beat those black criminals in the NBA." No, no 1000 times no. Pro athletes are just that, PROFESSIONALS. They dedicate their lives to the sport, every single day. More on topic, when will the NFL get a draft lottery? Granted you usually dont have a Lebron type in football who can change a team overnight, but isnt the idea of rewarding total incompetence a little silly by now? How long before NFL teams start throwing games like NBA teams used to before the lottery? Or does this happen already?

Fan who took ball from Favre gets probation

Anybody who actually got the announcers to talk about something besides how wonderful Brett Favre is for a few seconds is OK by me.

TO TO'd

Actually, lets take this out of the context of TO or even football. You have a contract with someone to do a job- you decide halfway through you dont like job they're doing- but YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT. You either pay them the full amount or negotiate a buyout. Whether the person is a "jerk" is 1000% beside the point. A business owner with any class does business in the right way all the time, not on a sliding scale based on a moral judgement of the person they're doing business with.

TO TO'd

yay! what a wonderful precedent they've set! Essentially, teams never have to honor a contract. (I mean, they already dont, but now they have to honor it even less) I'm sure every player, at one time or another, has said something less than 100% positive about a teammate. Just hide mics in all the locker rooms and get dirt on everybody! TO can be a jerk sometimes. he was also the only one who seemed to even be making an effort in the Super Bowl last year. The rest of the team just doesnt have what it takes - they will not come close to the Super Bowl again with this group of players.

Seeking a refund from Mr. Rogers

$10M for smoking pot (I assume, although it doesnt specify the substance)? Sounds fair. Detroir Lions, classless as always.
