Former UFC Champion Found Dead: Former UFC Middleweight Champion Evan Tanner has passed away at age 37. He was found by an Imperial County Sheriffs Department Deputy on Monday. Tanner was found while on a trip to the California desert. Perhaps foreshadowing, Tanner reassured fans on his web blog that this trip was not going to be another version on "Into The Wild". The cause of death is not yet known. R.I.P. Evan Tanner, a free spirit and a great sportsman!

Josh Howard Disrespects National Anthem

An ironic thing that I just picked up on. This happened at an Allen Iverson Celebrity Softball game. If Allen Iverson has enough class and respect to play the anthem before his own charity event, then in my eyes Howard was also disrespecting Iverson and the charity with his comments and actions. Unless I am mistaken, Iverson is also black. So maybe it isn't a black thing Josh.

Josh Howard Disrespects National Anthem

Before I am corrected- Dexter Manley made it through four years of college (didn't graduate) while being illiterate.

Josh Howard Disrespects National Anthem

I am not saying docshredder was completely right in what he said. However, just because you graduate from a college doesn't mean you LEARNED anything. Dexter Manley graduated college without learning to read. Many ballplayers are pushed through the system. Obviously he slept through American Histroy classes if he even attended them.

Josh Howard Disrespects National Anthem

Josh Howard is an uneducated selfish asshole. Since when is not respecting the flag or National Anthem a "black thing". I thought it was an "American thing". Is he trying to say that all black people have no respect for the country or the soldiers that go to war? If I was black I would be more offended by that than anything. Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton now? It is african americans that he said disparaging things about, even though he doesn't realize it. If he doesn't want to look at the flag that is his right as an American, even if I don't agree. But to disrespect it and call it a "black thing" is just moronic.

Let's see him try to get away with that shit before one of his basketball games. Just start shooting layups when they play the anthem, see how long you will have the only job you are qualified for in America. Then get the fuck out.

Ohio State no match for Southern Cal

Heck- USC is so deep that a QB that never started a game for them is starting in place of Tom Brady for the Patriots. Yes. Matt Cassel the USC benchwarmer is good enough to start for an NFL team, yet didn't even start for USC.

Ohio State no match for Southern Cal

Just like all century, USC will be near, or most likely, at the top when it counts. At the end of the year the Trojans will be the National Champions again and prove the dynasty has not died. Their are a lot of good/great teams this year (OK, Mizzou/Fla/GA??) but at the end only one will stand-USC. The difference is USC is loaded at all positions. When one player graduates and goes on to the NFL another steps in. If a player gets injured (i.e. Beanie Wells) there will be no tears, just another great player ready to take over. When the Trojans go on to the NFL you will all cheer for them as they go to your hometown teams and they will continue to rebuild. Get used to it, it is not going to change anytime soon.

Report: Brady's Injury Torn ACL

Crow... I did not attack you personally, so get over it. I was trying to tell you that you will be taken more seriously without typing like a little schoolgirl texting her friends. I would also watch with the threats and attacks, as I doubt seriously you would ever speak to me like that to my face without pissing your pants.

Oh and by the way, great job talking ill of the dead. One day you will have a friend or loved one die and hopefully you will be treated with a little more respect than you show. You see I knew Evan Tanner and he was a great guy. A bit eccentric, but very down to earth, a classy guy and extremely friendly outside the cage. He would give the shirt off his own back to help anyone in need.

Lance Armstrong to return to pro cycling

The "Lance thing" is over. See: Jordan,M., Ali,M. , Clemens,R. , Bonds,B. , Favre,B. . I need another Lance Armstrong race like I need another hole in my head. Know when to stay retired! He says he wants to raise awareness for cancer, I say he is just trying to make bucks and stay in current events news. His spending habits are high with his new Hollywood lifestyle and his cash is running low with all his young women he is trying to get. He is just trying to get back in the news so he can bang another young 21 year old Movie Star Wanna-Be. Maybe his eye is now on Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus. He needs to stay in the game long enough for her to turn 18.

Report: Brady's Injury Torn ACL

cRoW- uR txtng sux... Seriously, try to write comprehensively on your posts and they may be taken seriously. I went through all the posts on here and it doesn't seem that many people are really "happy" that Brady got hurt. They just do not think the world should stop because of this injury. Players are injured all the time.

Although it is unfortunate, it is not tragic by any means. An athlete from another sport (Evan Tanner-MMA, UFC) died today and not many people even seem to notice or care. Yet a football player gets injured and the world is supposed to stop? It is one season out of a players career. I am not a Brady fan, but he will be back next year and he will be great again, or at least get the chance to play football and enjoy life. Keep it in perspective.

Take your bags, sir?

Tatum Bell is a scumbag. He was pissed because he got cut and blamed it on the guy they brought in to replace him. So as a result, he took his bags and tried to STEAL them. He would not have brought them to someone else's house unless he thought he may get caught. Rudi claims the bags were returned, without his cash and personal items inside the bags. Even if Bell didn't steal those items he is responsible for taking them and placing them with a third party. He could easily be prosecuted with it all on video. The TEAM should take a stance and have him prosecuted.
