whats with this guy being so against belicheck (First off, Bill Belichick is a punk. ) Bill Belicheck is the best coach in the NFL of this decade, and this so called author is writing about Mangini and him. First off, Mangini is a bum who tried to bring other Pats coaches to New York. Secondly, when Mangini was asked who he would like to thank for his career, he named about 15 coaches, and 0 of them seemed to be Belicheck. I would like to say that although I am rooting for the Patriots, this game will come down to how well the Pats stop the run, which will be very hard for them. Unless the game comes down to the end of the game, and the Pats D can hold, I have the Bolts in a very close game.

Do You Hear What I Hear? The NFL takes no action against the Miami Dolphins in "Tapegate." After the Dolphins blasted New England 21-0 on Sunday, several Miami players referred to "purchased" tapes they used to help decipher Patriots QB Tom Brady's audibles and line-blocking calls.

A.I on his way out. Allen Iverson is no longer Philadelphia's headache. Then again, maybe it's the other way around. Either way, this much is sure: One of the great players in franchise history has likely played his last game for the 76ers. Iverson wants out and Philadelphia will grant his wish.

Corey Lidle's Plane Crashes into New York City Skyscraper The plane that crashed into the Upper Ease Side building today was registered to the New York Yankees pitcher. One month ago the New York Times ran a feature on Lidle and his plane that's disturbing in hindsight. "A player-pilot is still a sensitive topic for the Yankees, whose captain, Thurman Munson, was killed in the crash of a plane he was flying in 1979. Lidle, acquired from the Philadelphia Phillies on July 30, said his plane was safe."

What now? New York fans are the most passionate sports fans in the world. Leave it to the Knicks to alienate them. The fans know that the team has no direction and are chronic underachievers. The team must really be desparate if they are pulling this one off.

NFL Fans, Your Silence is Appreciated New NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is considering a change that would make crowd noise meaningless: Allowing wireless communication between quarterbacks and the offense before the snap. "They come into an opposing stadium and they are not able to put the full offense in," he said. "They are not able to run plays in, they are not able to change the plays at the line of scrimmage."

A gold glove is given to the best defensive player at a position in their league. If anyone deserves a gold glove it's youk with his errorless streak at first. He may not make many astounding plays, but his streak is not luck.
