Jets Fans Gather Each Halftime For 'Show Us Your Tits!' Ritual The New York Times describes a halftime ritual that has been going on for years at New York Jets games. Several hundred male fans line the pedestrian ramps at Gate D, whistling and chanting for females to expose their breasts. "Sunday's scene played out for about 20 minutes, and at least one woman granted the men's request, setting off a roar." Security guards claim they can do nothing about it, but they managed to successfully detain a reporter covering the story. Photos and video end up on YouTube and MySpace (link contains nudity). One comment on Jets Blog: "Don't bring your wife/girlfriend out to the ramps at halftime ... problem avoided."

Ricky Williams tests positive for marijuana again Dolphins running back Ricky Williams tested positive for marijuana in April and will not be allowed to apply for reinstatement to the NFL until September, ESPN.com reported Friday. Williams was suspended last year for violation of the substance abuse policy and was eligible to be reinstated this month, but sources told the website that the league's medical advisors who oversee Williams' rehabilitation program recently notified Commissioner Roger Goodell of the positive test. Williams had failed four drug tests previously.

One Toke Over The Line, Ron Mexico... Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick "reluctantly" turned over a water bottle to TSA agents at the Miami-Dade International Airport yesterday. Upon closer inspection, the bottle had a hidden compartment containing "a dark particulate" and emanating "a pungent aroma closely associated with marijuana." Considering that Ron Mexico's had at least one TSA problem before, why would you even try to get something through security?

Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez! Don't hate them because they're beautiful. Even if they do win the NFC Championship, even if, wonder of wonders, they win the Super Bowl, you shouldn't hate the New Orleans Saints. Sportsfilter's own The_Black_Hand explains why he's giving some love to the Saints, and why you should, too.

I live in New Orleans and the year the Saints are having has made everyone around here feel full of hope. When I watched them on Monday night and they blocked the punt I kept saying "Who is this team? This is not my Saints!" Well, they are my Saints and we expect to win now--this isn't some type of fluke. Coach Payton has changed the attitude of not just the team but the entire city. Hail the Saints and beat Da Bears!!
Louisville's Petrino leaves to coach the Atlanta Falcons Another story of a coach bolting after signing an extension and making tearful speeches about his commitment to stay in Louisville for the long haul.

Benson is pissed because Taglibue basically told him you can't move to the team to San Antonio while New Orleans is trying to rebuild. I mean the ad Benson put in the paper was such a lame attempt at damage control. Anyway, there was supposedly some fans yelling some things at ol'Tommy and Benson didn't like it and you should see the tape of what Benson did. The reporter and camera man where at least 10 feet away from him and weren't even asking him any questions when Benson just went to the camera and grabbed at it knocking off the microphone. Besides, Benson not only had his own bodyguards with him there were other security surrounding him. www.wwltv.com
"I'm sorry Weedy, it just wasn't meant to be..." Jamaal Magloire has been traded to the Bucks for Desmond Mason, an '06 1st round pick, and the much loved "cash considerations".

Saints Go Marching Out The New Orleans Saints have likely played their last game in the city, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen. The plan is to spend 2006 in San Antonio and possibly Los Angeles as a permanent home.

I live in New Orleans and I am of 2 minds to this: 1. Benson is an a** and I want him to take the team and go. He is a terrible owner who does not really care about his fans. and 2. If the Saints go then there goes the revenue that was generated by the Saints and New Orleans needs all the money it can get, (ie. beer and food and parking and people who work in the Superdome, etc.) plus, New Orleans gives a great party whenever we get the Super Bowl. I understand your stance lil_brown_bat but it just smacks of kicking us (New Orleans) when we are down. What Benson should do is say the Saints will be back and then he can try to leave in 2007 or sell the team to someone who will keep the Saints in New Orleans.
IRL to probe Danica incident If she said she hit me on the temple with her fingers, that's fine. It doesn't matter. My son hits harder than she does."

The pitcher has two mommies Cincinnati Reds relief pitcher Joe Valentine is the son of two gay women, and he's not afraid to talk about a subject that's taboo in the clubhouse. "It's not a big deal to me," Valentine says. "Why should it be? ... I don't see myself as an activist for gay rights, although I will speak up if I need to. I'm a baseball player who was raised by two wonderful, loving mothers. How can anyone criticize that?

Patriots Squash Colts, 20-3 Peyton Unitas threw none touchdowns in another crushing playoff loss to the New England Patriots, who were led by Corey Dillon's 144 rushing yards. Like my Jacksonville Jaguars in 1999, Indianapolis risked the wrath of Touchdown Jesus by releasing a premature celebration song while the playoffs were still taking place.
