Up to 15 scholarships doesn't mean 15 scholarships. If they aren't good enough, then why a scholarship?

I believe its based upon being the reason there is even football. Chicago, the only true football city.

The problem with that is that it is not just the Bengals. The Bengals issue just draws more attention because we have seen it before. All of sports is condemned by the mentality of its players. Maybe they need to start spending some of that money on his/her brain rather than his/her brawn.

A true legend that was just like one of us. For those that don't know, Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan were caddies at the same club when they were kids. According Mr. Nelson himself, Ben Hogan was the popular one and Byron was the quiet one in the corner. This is like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig playing on the same little league team. Bryon Nelson retired at the age of 34 to go back home, back to his favorite place, his ranch. Byron: "I know little about golf, I do know how to make a stew, I'm just an ordinary guy." Bryon Nelson, a true legend in sports.

Reggie isn't the biggest name of the year, he's not even the biggest name in his sport.

What is forgotten here is that this game wasn't won or lost on just that last few at bats....there were other innings also.

If memory serves me right, didn't Phil Niekro get caught doctoring the baseball?

Personally, Bobby Jones is the greatest PLAYER of all time. This is a guy that didn't even play golf for his Career. He was a lawyer not a golfer, a lawyer. He won I think 12 majors by the age of 28 I believe and then he gave up golf to keep his profession. If Bobby Jones played golf for a living and there were the emphasis put on majors today on those back then, he would have no doubt have set a bar like Cy Young did in baseball. One that will never be even equalled.

dbt if there were a shot here in there Nicklaus would've had more majors because of his 19 2nd's in a major and 9 3rds. Even after 1964, Arnold Palmer was still called the king. He was the what golf was and Jack was the man trying to dethrown him. Ask Jack once said "I was a pudgy crew cut kid playing golf and was hated" By the way, Arnold Palmer is called "The King"

For nearly the entire first half of Jack's career, he had to battle Arnold Palmer and more brutally Arnie's Army. Tiger had to battle David Duval, a guy who has essentially fallen off a cliff. There is no answer to this debate for atleast another 10 years. As for comparing the 1999 PGA to the 2006 PGA...Medinah has changed 17 of the holes since then and will play as the longest in major championship history. Will be interesting.

What were we talking about?

If someone comes up and asks you "What do you think of the guy that killed your father and law" I think the words "No comment" would be the furthest thing from your mind.

Maybe Wie should try the Nationwide Tour, maybe there she would actually make the cut against the men. There should not be any LPGA and if there is there should also be a "M"PGA. Equality is what we're talking here. Everyone should play on the same field. If this was the case....Michelle would be 0/5, and that's not going to keep your card. Whatever happened to guy that wanted to play in a LPGA event? He got turned away because he was a guy. Sounds pretty sexist to me.
