Sports Bio

Well I live in Brooksville, Florida. I try to follow everysport. My friends at my highschool call me the sports encyclopedia. My favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs, Miami Dolphins, Florida Gators, Buffalo Sabers and the Miami Heat. I am mainly a Shaq fan though. I play for the JV baseball team at Hernando High School. My most memorable sports moment is when the Cubs made it to the NL Championship series and where 6 outs away from going to the World Series. I cried my eyes out when they lost the last game.

Woods closes out the year with a seven-shot win Okay, the guy takes 10 weeks off and still wins by 7 shots. And what's the deal with Rory Sabbatini?

Tiger is scary. He will have the best season ever next year. He has finally been able to replace the loss of his father and hugging him after matches with a new baby to hug after matches. It is great for him and will be great for golf for years to come.

Bill Parcells signs a four year deal Bill Parcells signs a four year deal to become Miami's executive Vice President of football operations. How much of a lift does this give Miami going into this weeks game against the Pats?

Parcells won't give any "boost" to the Phins this weekend. He was in New England in what seems like forever ago. No one cares anymore. The only boost he can give the phins is next year in the free agent market and the search for a new coach. Bye Bye Cam.

Red Sox brass meeting with Matsuzaka's agent Red Sox front office, pitcher's agent hammering out contract details.

There is no CAP as you guys keep saying. There is the amount of money that the RedSox are willing to pay and that can be as much as they are willing to pay until the MLB gets a set spending limit. And I would have gone after someone like Barry Zito before I would go after this guy. I mean 51mill just to talk about a contract. Please.

Florida Will Face Ohio State in BCS Championship Game Thanks to votes in the non-computer polls, Florida jumped over Michigan to grab the No. 2 spot and a chance to face Ohio State for the national championship. This is the first meeting ever between the storied college football programs.

I sincerely think neither one is anything to tremble over. One is overrated, the other is still really young. Leak isn't the best. I never said that. Tebow isn't the fastest out there. I never said that. I mearly said that the gators can change the gamplan very easily against a defense before they can make a change. And it isn't like Leak had a horrible season. Games 13 Pass Attempts 329 Pass Completions 207 Passing Yards 2729 Touchdown Passes 22 Interceptions 13 Carries 74 Rushing Yards 23 Rushing Average 0.3 Rushing Touchdowns 3

I agree, they haven't played a team with 5 good wideouts but has OSU played a team that has as much speed and strength on the line as Florida? Have they played a team that has an offense that uses 2 QBs and just changing that QB changes the entire gameplan? Troy Smith has never faced as much pressure as he is going to face on Jan. 8th. It is going to be an awsome game and it is a shame we are bashing any of these teams for having great seasons.

If they are going to do a playoff system I say do it to were each conference is represented by their champ. That would be the easiest no bicker way about it and if there is an odd number their could be a wild card like team that could be a team like Michigan.

I don't think it is going to be as bad of a game as you all think it will be. Michigan had there chance and they lost. Case closed. Florida played the toughest scheduel in the toughest conference in the NCAA. And with the earlier comment- That crybaby coach at Florida kissed alot of ass the last week. he was doing what any other coach would do in the same situation. He felt his team deserved a shot and apperantly his kissing ass has worked and so it has for the other coaches that do so.

I really hope that Steinbrenner doesn't sell the naming rights to the new Yankee Stadium. No matter how much I hate the Yankees there are just certain things that shouldn't disappear from the sport and a Yankee Stadium is one of them.

'Don't You Need at Least One Good Quarterback to Make a Controversy?' Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist Gil LeBreton asks that question after Dallas Cowboys QBs combined for four interceptions -- no, wait, Tony Romo just threw another -- in the Monday night loss to the New York Giants. Romo entered last night's game "to a standing ovation and chants of 'Romo, Romo, Romo,'" according to the Associated Press. "The cheers didn't die down until his first pass was swatted by Michael Strahan and intercepted by Antonio Pierce."

Pocket quarterbacks are a dying breed Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Rex Grossman, Trent Green, Mark Brunnel, Tom Brady, Marc Bulger, Chad Pennington, Matt Haselbeck, Philip Rivers, Drew Bledsoe, Jon Kitna, and Joey Harrington are the group of QB's that I would consider "pocket QB's" that are the starters on there team. A certain type of pocket QB's are dying out though. The one's that just stand in one spot of the pocket are done such as Drew Bledsoe. The one's that are able to utilize the pocket and not have to roll out but can make things happen in the pocket are the great ones. Scrambling QB's like Michael Vick are amazing to watch but they don't win championships. John Elway QB's that are able to move in the pocket and by some time are the one's that are remebered as great.

"Ah, the Buccaneers. That reminds me of the days I trod the boards in Gilbert and Sullivan's 'Pirates of Penzance' at the Cape Cod Melody Tent. What a group of fearsome fancy lads we were: hats a-plume, swords gaily polished — and even we could beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They suck. Take the Eagles." I am not saying that Izturis would take Jeters spot. He could be moved to third. And the awsome comments I understand are not needed. They aren't awsome yet. Awsome should be reserved for guys like Clemens and Maddux. But Wood and Prior do have the stuff to get them to the awsome point. And comparing them to Pavano isn't fair. Pavano got injured for getting in a car wreck and not telling anyone. Wood and Prior get injuries for real baseball realate injuries. Prior got hit with a ball this year and Wood doesn't have proper mechanics but is working on them and has been conditioning to stay in shape. I am not saying this is exactaly what will happen but it is something I am sure that the Yankees would take a look at.
