Steeler announcing great dies at 79: He was Pittsburgh's Harry Carry. You loved or hated him. Very rarely did he make sense but more times then not, you found youself turning down the TV and turning up the radio to hear Cope announce the game. He was a legend in Pittsburgh and he will not soon be forgotten. If you never heard him, you missed a great one. Pop open an Iron City at Cope's Cabana and drink to one of the greats.

Cedric Benson Hip injury more serious then expected. Thats why they picked up Larry Johnson. Seems like there are some better backs out there.

As a former coach, The slant pattern if run correctly is the hardest pass to defend and should almost always give you the needed yardage. The Colt defender made a hell of a stop

That being said, You have to do everything in your power to keep Manning on the sidelines. Was it an unusual call yes. Was it a bad call, maybe, but this is not Jason Campbell at QB. Manning has done the last drive thing to many times to too many teams. If it takes a crazy call to keep him off the field, go for it.
Watching the game, Billy B obviously had more faith in his "O" then his "D". Can you blame him. If he hits the first down, He is the evil genius with mind control.

Stuff like this makes me sad to be a teacher.
I do think it will be a good game. The Steelers have always been tough against the run and will need to shut down "Boat arrest" Benson. They had a little trouble with him last time. If they do that and can get some pressure on Carson, I think they will win. I am looking for a big game from Lamar Woodly and James "beat my girl" Harrison. They are due.
As a Steeler fan, I am a little worried. These are not the "BUNGLES" of old. Here is to hoping they find a way to Bungle it up.
Having watched the TV show hard knocks done with the Bengals this year, I was not expecting them to be this good.

I think it should be a great game. Its a rivalry going in and actually means something for the first time in a few years. Cincy looks stong and I know i would not bet that game. The rookie corners look good too. This week will be a test for them. Palmer finally looks healthy. Sucks losing Henry for the year. He made it hard to double team the "oche" Should be a good one.
I think the "oche" is funny. I dont mind the little back and forth things between teams. At this level of football, I really dont buy the bulletin board material having any real meaning. If him sending mustard would really get the Steelers more fired up to play, then you shouldn't be in the NFL. Whats whong with a little fun.

Recently Cuban spoke to students at a Pittsburgh College. A student asked him about buying the Pirates. Cuban said he tried and did all he could, but they were not willing to sell no matter what he offered. To bad. You know he would pay for a winner. He would prob be worse then Steinbrenner

My friends and i have called him boat arrest benson since he was with chicago. that was not a shot at the bengals and their past history of criminal activity.
cedric wilson and james harrison who hit women, jeff reed got pissed at a towel dispenser, just to name those since Benson became the starter in Cincy...
Trust me I am not the Pittsburgh fan that thinks we are the golden franchise that has no problems.

Based on the fact that Tim was also caught with a pipe, I'd say he is an amatuer.
Disagree with that one. If it is good stuff, you rarely need to roll a whole one for just yourself. A nice glass pipe conserves the trees. Just not the best idea to drive around with.
