Dallas Cowboys Boot Vanderjagt The most accurate kicker in NFL history was cut today, eight months after signing a three-year, $5.5 million deal with a $2.5 million signing bonus. Vanderjagt missed 5 out of 18 field goals this season, some hopeless from the moment they left the Vanderfoot. He's been replaced with Martin Gramatica.

They are have to pay him for the entire season anyway, why not just keep him on your roster? if someone else signs him we dont have to pay him and it is obvious someone will take a chance on the once most accurate kicker of all time

Shawne Merriman suspended for steroids. The four game suspension comes less than a week after the news of the Falcon's Matt Lehr and the Lion's Shaun Rogers receiving steroid suspensions.

Brewers trade Lee to Rangers, get Cordero The Brewers are sending Carlos Lee and minor league outfield prospect Nelson Cruz to the Rangers for relief pitcher Francisco Cordero and outfielders Kevin Mench and Laynce Nix. More bats for the Rangers, while their pitching still lags behind. Maybe this clears the way for other moves?

New sheriff in town. Two OT's. Five games decided by five points or less. Two games decided by one point. Mavericks win the series. One for the ages.

Cavs take Series Lead with a Squeaker Down to the wire. Intense game. Cleveland comes from being counted out by many.

i said from the begining that the cavs were going to win. the reason is cause they have a bench. the pistons are great in a 4 or 5 game series but each one is playing 42 min a game they get freeking tired. also they dont have a clutch guy like lebron. cavs in 7 then they will get raped by the heat....GO SPURS!!!

Spurs Hand Kings Worst Playoff Loss Ever No matter how far the San Antonio Spurs go in search of another NBA title, Tony Parker thinks they might never match their practically perfect first half in their first playoff game of the spring.

i have been watching the spurs since they were the "'06 Trailblazers". The spurs are going to have trouble with these easy series in the playoffs. The kings are WAY better than an 8 seed. they could easily have been a 5 seed if they had artest the whole year. spurs are going to the finals and loose in 7 to the pistons but only cause timmy looks like my freekin grandma on the basketball court.

What's in a Number? I know this article is a couple days old but I just heard about it last night. Does every position really need its own numbering system? I'd love to have a referee chime in on this one and can I get a jersey with no number? The thought of it intrigues the collector in me.

Pretty soon it will be some quarterback being unable to get the number "7" they want, and instead wanting "77" y not just allow the # system to be less strict. they could just say 49 and under can be a RB instead of 49-20, that is retarded. and besides what idiot QB would wear the # 77
