A.J. Smith doesn't look so smart now. Maybe Schottenheimer was a better coach than people want to give him credit. Maybe it was a team chock full of Pro Bowlers because Schott put them in position to succeed.

I am not going to lie (which I guess would make me a bad analyst or politician for that matter) I really excpected a good close game. I thought San Diego's talent would allow them to stay competitive with anyone regardless of who was coaching.
