More from skydivedad: Attached is the video interview I conducted with Ken Holland GM of the Detroit Red Wings. I'm posting this from my laptop at the Hotel in Traverse City, MI sight of the Red Wings Rookie and Prospects Tournament. It's been a great Tournament so far and I've seen some fanastic NHL Prospects and Rookies play in the Round Robin Tournament, the Tournament is currently through day 2 with each team having played 2 games a piece. The video of the interview I conducted with Mr. Holland was shot indoors right near the ice surface of one of the 2 rinks the facilty has been using for the 8 participating NHL Teams with squads here. (Wings, Lightning, Blues, Blue Jackets, Wild, Thrashers, Stars and Rangers). The interview took place at Centre Ice early in the morning of Sept. 8th, the 1st day of the Tournament, before any of the games took place and a few minutes before the Red Wings Squad scheduled practice time. I like to Thank Mr. Holland for the courtesy of granting this interview. Mr. Holland and the Red Wings Organization along with the Staff at Centre Ice do an incredible job of running this Tournament. The facilities are outstanding and the local community volunteers are to be commended for their effort in making this Prospects Tournament the Finest in the World. I apologize for the low quality of the video. I was shooting it indoors and I didn't adjust the camera settings enough to compensate for the lighting conditions. I also rendered and compressed the video in Windows Media Video9 (.wmv) so the quality was reduced to allow for quicker download times. I'm planning several other posts both from here and in studio when I return and I have some other exciting guest to present to the SportsFilter Community.
This doesn't look too dark at all. Hell, you're doing it at rinkside, with one camera and no extra lighting. It's cool how excited Holland is about the scouting & evaluation process, and how friendly he was with you. This is so cool. I can't wait to see more of these. (We need to get you a Spofi tent thing for your microphone.)

Thanks Gang I've posted a couple of player interviews in the locker room hockey thread: Chad Denny (Thrashers) and Lauri Korpikoski from Finland (Rangers) I'd also like to give a special Thanks to Dadsquest for helping me out up here running the camera and doing all the gopher work. He couldn't stay past Sunday so I'm on my own. Well, I'm off to watch some more Hockey! Watch for more guest interviews and game action video soon.

Great stuff. I know Mr. Holland is a busy man and to take the time to give sportsfilter an interview speaks volumes about the Wings organization.
That was totally awesome dude! How come come you were not wearing a SortsFilter t-shirt? That was very cool of Mr. Holland, mad props to him. I wonder if he is going to check us out.
If I didn't hate the Red Wings so much, this would make me like them more. Unfortunately, though... well, yeah.
