Fast and Furious: The new generation of LPGA rookies plan to waste no time showing the veterans that they've got game. The prediction: a 2006 season for the ages.

It seems to be a lot easier for the rookie women to make a bigger impact than the men can. I don't think any of them can knock off Annika but she might get pushed now and then. It should be interesting to see which one(s) will end up with their own calendar or spread in Playboy first.

I don't see anyone truly challenging Annika in 06, but I do think the women's game is likely to get a boost by young talents like Morgan Pressler (sp?). Just please don't anyone say that Michelle Wie is something special cuz that girl needs to go back to the amateur circuit and actually win something before I do anything other than laugh each time she fails (which is of course every time she plays). What a bust! Get off the men's tour and win something already!!!

Calling Michelle Wie a bust at this stage in her career is idiotic. To suggest she fails is moronic. To think her game is only of amateur status is imbecilic. Check out today's leader board at the first major of the year and you will see that Wie is contending for the third straight year at the Dinah Shore course. By the way, a round of golf might humble you and your tomfool opinions of her game, as it is apparent you know nothing about the game or the level of talent that kid posesses.
