What a turkey: David Fleming of ESPN.com has offered up his list of the NFL turkeys for 2003. As sad as it makes me, I would agree with who he gives the top turkey award to. Who else deserves to have a pic in the "Turkeys of 2003" calendar?

Spurrier, Arizona cheapies, those are two good one. Romo and Keyshawn are too easy. Not mentioned is Paul Tagliabue but I think he has done little good for the fans in a long time. Get his signature off the damn balls!

Two words: Rick. Neuheisel. His blind arrogance hurt himself, his university, and may wind up taking down the athletic director that stood up for him until it was impossible to do so.

I nominate espn for two of the worst hirings in the history of media...Rush Limbaugh and Bryan Cox. Is there a worse talking head on the air than Bryan Cox? He makes Eric Dickerson look like Dick Schaap.

Also jeffmshaw, as a Husky I couldn't concur more with your choice of turkeys, but alas this is an NFL list...

Here's a good non-sport-specific turkeys list, led off with Larry Eustachy. Debatable choice for top honors, especially with the other coaching issues this year.

D'oh! Thanks, vito, my bad. Reading comprehension and all. From an NFL perspective, your two turkeys are about as gobble-riffic as it gets -- Limbaugh? What were they thinking?
