What changed in the last six months? Odom is one of the few Clippers who seemed to genuinely want to stay, even through all the losing. Was it just more p.c. contract pandering? Any one else tired of this kind of crap happening? " To sign somebody back out of spite is gutless and is sorry. " No Lamar, ditching fans who've supported you on a losing team even through your personal problems is "gutless and is sorry."

What changed in the last six months? The 6-10 forward has been negotiating a contract offer from the Heat that is believed to be worth between $65 million and $70 million over six years. The Clippers reportedly have offered Odom a three-year, $24 million contract. 44 million things changed.

Quick question. The NBA's drug policy is a 3-strike rule isn't it? The third time you break it you're "expelled". Is this correct? If so, does your team have to pay your contract out? Most contracts have drug policy stipulations, so I wouldn't imagine so, but does your salary stay on the cap? What I'm getting at is, Lamar's broken the drug policy twice. The Clippers are a little skittish about signing him to a long-term deal 'cause what if he ends up getting caught with pot again? Even still, 3 years at 8 mil per ain't bad.

Lilnemo, Having suscribed to a season of NBA League Pass just to watch the Clippers I know where you're coming from. Before last season anything seemed possible for the Clips. They had a roster that was arguably as strong as any in the NBA. Miller (the reigning assists champ at pg), Corey Maggette (an upcoming SG), Lamar Odom (good for 15pts,7reb,5ast from the SF spot), Brand (an All-Star PF), Kandi (a solid center), and Richarson (the sixth man of the year). And then the season started. Let it go. It's over for the Clips. They are an utterly middle of the pack team. Miller's gone. Kandi's gone. Start watching the Cavs. They're everything the Clips used to be. They've even got D-Miles.

I agree with Odom: the Clippers are the ninth ring of basketball hell. I'd try to get as far from Donald Sterling, the fallen angel of basketball death, as possible. Sign me with Virtus Bologna, I don't care, anyone except the Clips! RANDOM THOUGHTS... A. Poor Odom. Miami is a huge improvement, proving that all things are relative. B. If Larry Bird is Basketball Jesus, Donald Sterling has to be Basketball Satan, right?
