Off the field, Chad does what he can with his time to help out the community as alot of pro athletes do but most pro athletes would rather not make the front page of the news with all the good that they do with their time & money.

Plus, what sells newspapers isn't a positive story anyways, but a negative one and that to me is just sad.

Tatum used to play here in Denver and never did anything to get him in the wrong section of the newspaper. He also was on one of the local talk shows frequently and came across as a pretty plain aw-shucks guy (in a good way). I'm inclined to believe him.

So because he was on a local talk show and "came across as a pretty plain aw-shucks guy", you don't believe that he walked by and picked up Rudi Johnson's bags even though it was caught on security cameras?

The question is...if either is possible, why do you automatically assume the other is more credible?

So why do you assume that it isn't possible that these cops just over-reacted and proved once again that a few bad apples can spoil the bunch?

Anything is possible but from what's being said, these cops threw this guy out not for "acting like a drunken asshat" but for trying to drain the ol' lizard during God Bless America.

However, the fact that the police have a completely different story and he's not sure whether he's going to pursue legal action makes it seem a little fishy to me.

Or maybe the cops know that they fucked up and are doing their best to make this guy out to be some sort of criminal they just had to apprehend. It wouldn't be the first or last time that the NYPD embellished the facts in order to make themselves out to be "just doing their jobs."

According to the gentleman that has season tickets and was right next to Campeau-Laurion when this incident occurred, the cops are full of shit and for some strange reason, I am not surprised.

No, it's not and I'll give you an example: If Chad is offsides, the ref isn't going say, "Offsides, number 8-5", he'll say, "Offsides, EIGHTY-FIVE" so although it may translate as 8-5, it doesn't mean EIGHTY-FIVE. You don't have to take my word for it but consider this, spanish is in fact my first language.

I love Chad John..er, excuse me, Ocho Cinco but he really needs talk to someone that speaks spanish because the proper pronunciation for the number 85 isn't Ocho Cinco, it's Ochenta Cinco. Now, if he leagally changed his name then that's his name. He's not hurting anyone by his actions and is having fun, so what's the problem? People can be a little too uptight these days and understand that yes, he may be a somewhat of an attention diva but so what? Who is he hurting? He's not out there with friends shooting up a club or getting arresting for driving drunk.

Leave the guy alone and enjoy the way he plays the game. I just know that I have never seen someone like Ocho Cinco that manipulates the media as well as this guy. Let him have his fun since that's what sports is all about anyways. Even if this is a bit off the wall.
