Very funny. That Brandes and McGrath exchange always makes me smile. The Cullinan and Warne one is new on me, but you can guarantee I'll be repeating it. I assume you were prompted to post this by the incident between Flintoff and Tino Best in the Test today. That was small beans by comparison with some of the classics.

These are beauts. I gotta ask, never having seen more than a very informal cricket match, how often do these guys take a swing at each other?

I can't think of any cases of international level players attacking each other physically (except with legitimate bowling deliveries; players have died on the pitch). They'd likely be banned for life if they did.
