Bonds’ homer No. 762 a bizarre mystery After Bonds connected on No. 756 to move past Hank Aaron, each of his home runs became the new final home run. Every fan who snagged one became an instant celebrity and, at least until the next one was hit, a potential millionaire. When the season ended on Sept. 30, every home run ball that Bonds had hit after 756 had been accounted for, except one: No. 762.

John Daly disqualified at Bay Hill One day after swing coach Butch Harmon fires him, Daly misses his tee time and is disqualified from Arnold Palmers Invitational. Said Harmon, "My whole goal for him was he's got to show me golf is the most important thing in his life," Harmon said. "And the most important thing in his life is getting drunk."

Hell, I'd caddie for the guy, I'd even chug a beer with him after every hole....

You know, anyone that follows NASCAR will state, that over the past ten years or so, the sport has changed drastically. First with losing Winston, then rules for drivers, then points systems, tires, track conditions, Car-Of_Tomorrow, etc. The almighty dollar has seem to have taken over the integrity of the sport, and it just keeps going, in the wrong direction, in my opinion. Bring back the good 'ol days of racing, and the good ol' boys, that drove the wheels off of the cars. I'm not sure if they are really cars at all anymore....sorry had to vent.

Hmm, I don't know what to think. Apparently the "Men" @ Men's Vogue don't watch college football. Sheesh.....

I just had to post this. My opinion, Key wasn't a superior NFL receiver, but a damn good College receiver. The position seems to require not only quickness, speed and of course monster hands, but to have the toughness, both physically and mentally, to compete for such a skilled-position. I would rather him analyze the game, than fall flat on his face.

I can remember, back when Peyton began to be a dominating QB, a fella by the name of Sean Salisbury, would dog him daily, say how he wasn't a top QB, and basically ridicule him on ESPN. I myself don't care for Sean, and Stewart Scott? He's as bad or worse then then Jim Rome. They're as painful as Greg Bumbel. I have to turn the tube down, and let my 7 and 8 year old sons give the play by play!

Boy you people don't know when to quit. Get off Bill's back already. You think he is the only coach that does this? Just because someone caught them, you all think so? My gosh, what do you think happens in other sports? Hell, what rules are broken WEEKLY in college sports? College football alone does things to get recruits, and keep them ON THE TEAM! Look @ Florida State, I think breathing is a prerequisite to get a sholarship there. Let it die already. Let's talk about (YAWN) Roger Clemens and his fiasco. Boy there's a shocker...

Jaybird, don't you watch major league baseball, the land of the cheaters. Or Nascar? Ever wonder why they keep changing the rules?? Hmm, Ford has an advantage one week, Chevy is posting better times. Cheating is the name of the game for most of these "professionals". I'll stick with logic, because apparrently you don't resemble any.....

Jaybird you sound like a typical white-collar conserative know-it-all. And you just can't grasp the simple fact, that Bill Belicheck is the king of football. The masters, master. Because he got selfish and arrogant; HE GOT CAUGHT. Do you think he is the only coach out there that does this, NO! Do I believe it is right, NO! Do I teach my two youg sons, sportsmanship and ethics? YES! It was very difficult for me to destroy the two Michael Vick footballs, I had purchased for them two years ago or so, and have them ask: Dad why is Michael Vick in trouble? Dad is Michael Vick going to jail? Dad, will Michael Vick play football again? My answer: I don't know boys, he did some bad things.
It's come to the point where we all have to wonder, are any of these over-priced pampered pri-madonnas, worthy role models for our children who love sports?? I'll put myself in front before any of those bozos. Nuff Said...

Enough of this nonsense already! Does anybody care? He as well as who-knows how many other dopers are guilty. I'm tired of seeing it on SportsCenter, News, etc. Boy, I thought I never could care less if baseball season starts.
Jason Kidd traded to the Mavs. ESPN reports that discussions are ongoing. But Yahoo is reporting its a done deal. The official word is that the teams agree on the deal "in principle" pending league approval.

Boy, sounds like the Nets got the best part of this deal. Jerry Stackhouse, I'm not sure if he has game left in his sneakers. Ahh, I miss the good 'ol day of real roundballers: Julius, Bird, Magic, Moses, Chambers, Kareem, Zeke, Stockton, Majerle, and who was that fella in Chicago?
