Sports Bio

I am a Green Bay Packer fan,big time.I am from around the Pittsburgh Pa. area, and I was a Steeler fan.My college team is Notre Dame, and I listened on the radio to every game on Saturday. In 1956 #5 for Notre Dame the quaterback Paul Hornung took the Heisman on a losing season with only 3 wins, and he went on to Green Bay Packers, from that time on I was a Packer fan.Been a Packer fan since 1956.When I was in the Military station in the Washington D.C. area in 1968 I had season tickets for the Redskins games, and I saw the Green Bay Packers play the Redskins. The Quterback was Bart Starr. This past summer I finally got to go to LAMBEAU field, and to Notre Dame university. That's my story, and thanks for asking.

Bobby Knight is the greatest,he got 900 wins with 42 seasons, more seasons then anyone else, but he deserves all the wins that he got.He might be wild at times, but he is a good hard nose coach.

Fear Strikes All: Doug Glanville Explains Why Steroids Hit Baseball In yesterday's New York Times, nine-season major leaguer Doug Glanville humanizes the debate over performance-enhancing drugs in baseball. "There is a tipping point in a player's career where he goes from chasing the dream to running from a nightmare. At that point, ambition is replaced with anxiety, passion is replaced with survival. It is a downhill run and it spares no one. For me, it started with a pop in 2003, while I was running out a routine ground ball in Texas." This drew interesting responses from author Jeff Angus and the blog Breaking Balls.

Who ever they find taking steriods, they need to take away the record they broke.Steriods got them the record, not the person them self. They also need to check all sports for steriods.

This weeks's NFL games will make terrific theater. From Romo's romp in Cabo with Jessica, to the perfect Patriots. This weekend should deliver excellent football, and if Dallas loses, plenty of tabloid commentary on Monday.
