Bonds gets needled by fan at PetCo Park

Another post sidtracked by the gravitational pull of Barry Bonds. Yee Haw. Deal with the whole question of the thread (And hopefully the newer parts. He can expect this kind of thin wherever people with Markers can meet up with people with large pieces of paper. I was once party to a group of guys that decided to heckle a Pee Wee Football game that was going on at the half of our college game.

In a race of accidents, matador Alonso triumphs

Don't forget the fact the "One of the best drivers in the world" JPM managed to spin out on the warmup lap. Seemed to me that Alonso was able to get an early jump on the restarts over the competition. JPM out, Alonso in for McLaren '07?

The Coach as Culture Hero

Surprise surprise, the kids at Slate don't like fact that coaches are looked up to in society. Perhaps we should all pattern our lives after painters and philosophes. I am a teacher and a coach and really don't care what they say entirely. Going to Slate to read about coaching is a lot like reading Popular Mechanics to learn to cook. Although the odd coaches part was interesting. I had a coach call the team I was on inconsistient by calling us "Heykell and Jyde" and he also told us to put together a "list of agendas" of what we wanted to accomplish this season. Needless to say he was a gym teacher/coach.

U.S. Hopes for Skeleton Gold Recede

The folks at Propecia really need to add this to the list of harmful side effects of the drug. "May cause you to lose your chance for an Olympic Medal" Also is it coincidence that two of the ads on the right are for baldness cures? Or can they see my head?

Ron Artest wishes to be traded.

I love the Ron Artest comments when looking at them through the article that was in SI in thier preview issue. He said that he loved Indy and that he was a fixture in the community. I guess things change quick in the Heartland.
