So...will Luongo and Thomas take turns pumping each others tires down there?

nobody was playing with a full deck, although the Canadians certainly have the depth to absorb key injuries.
Exactly. The Canadians - at forward/defense at least - could handle injuries probably better than almost any other team in the tournament. Sweden being down three centres is pretty huge. Would be like Canada losing their top two goalies.
Not that I'm complaining. Always nice to win gold.

I'm wondering what the Swedes would've been like with Sedin, Zetterberg and Backstrom.

I blame me for that US/Canada gold medal game. When I turned the TV on here at work, the US was up two to zip.
Hah. I walked away from the live stream to go get lunch when it was 2-0 late in the third. When my twitter started going nuts about the game, I figured I would not turn it back on until the game was over because Canada was doing better without me.

I'm more worried about the goaltending than the forwards to be honest.

Tampa Bay Lightning captain Martin St. Louis named to Team Canada as replacement for Steven Stamkos.

Steve Stamkos unable to play for Team Canada at Sochi Games. Stamkos had 23 points in 17 games prior to breaking his leg in November.

Instead of calling and running plays, allowing their team to settle into the game, Manning has to start his (often) ridiculous wandering around, yelling out calls, etc?
The closest we came to seeing the Broncos offence running in its true form were the 15 seconds before the first offensive snap sailed past Manning's ear
