2007-2008 Spofi Fantasy Basketball league signups: Are you ready for some football fantasy basketball? We've got two choices for you: head-to-head and rotisserie.

Most people prefer the fresh start every week and trash-talking aspects of the H2H league. Some prefer the classic roto format, where you've got 82 games to adjust your team's balance and make up point in weak categories. Your choice, or join both. Let me know if you have any suggestions for draft time, settings and league size limits. Thanks!

was there a league this year that i was previously invited to and was dropped or did i dream that?

dfleming: I created the H2H league about a week ago and sent out invites to about half the players from last year (some don't allow emails from Yahoo). You should have received an invite.

Hm, I'd like to join both, but I'm not sure which one I would autodraft. I'm just not smart enough or quick enough to do two drafts simultaneously.

Ha ha! I'll change the draft time to something we can all agree on. Saturday afternoons work fine for me - maybe one on the 20th and the other on the 27th?

If I could be selfish....if you're going to move one of them to the 20th, could you make it the roto league? My other H2H draft is that day and I prefer not to double up. I need full concentration to focus and hone in on ensuring dusted doesn't 4-peat in H2H.

Ufez, you're in the H2H league, right?

Roto league draft changed to Oct. 20 at 5PM Pacific. I'll let the week go by and see what kind of interest there is in the roto league. If it's just a few people, I'll kill it and do just the H2H.

If we're going to have the draft on a Sat. anyways, can it be moved an hour or two later (H2H)?

Sure, works for me. Will it be a problem for anyone? H2H league draft changed to Oct. 27 at 7PM Pacific.

Ufez, you're in the H2H league, right? Yeah, Yukon hooked me up with the info last week via gtalk. Looking forward to it!

Hey everyone, I wanted to do the roto league for sure, and possibly the H2H, but it won't let me sign up for the roto... has it been deleted?

Tim Donaghy's Bookie is in the H2H, and Greg Oden's Meniscus is in the roto, and both are gonna straight up murder your ass. And, since I never said it last year: Damn you, Gilbert Arenas!

TBH, is it Greg Oden's Lateral or Medial Meniscus?

Hi Kendall. No, it hasn't been deleted. Try one of the links below: http://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/nba/36550 http://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/spofiroto Password is "spofi" - email me if you still have problems.

There's not much interest in the roto league - 3 people. Should we drop it? Only 4 spots left in the H2H league.

Gotta love Gilbert Arenas: Fantasy Basketball Season Approaching You know, I never play Fantasy Basketball but I always hear a lot about it. The ball boys in every city are like, “Hey Gil. So, how do you feel tonight? Because I have you on my fantasy team …” I’m like, “Yeah … I feel good … What do you win if I do well? Are we splitting it 50-50? If we are then I’ll go out and score 40!” One time a kid was yelling from the stands, “I need you to score two more points! Two more points! Two more points!” So I was like, “OK, here goes your two!” and I let it fly. I just love Fantasy because it brings fun back into sports. NBA.com has me ranked as the No. 1 fantasy point guard. That’s what I’m talking about. Showing the love. My swagger got me No. 1. It wasn’t my actual basketball skills, it was my swag. Steve Nash’s swag is not like mine. He may throw them dimes, but I throw the one-liner. Nash, Kidd, Chris Paul and Deron Williams round out the top five. That’s a great list to have behind me. Those guys deserve to be back there. That’s nice. Ha.

We could keep the roto league with three or four stacked teams and just play an All-Star game every night. That would actually be really fun.
