It may be across the pond, but the Dolphins will still play like spotted dick. Is that some kind of British thing that an ignorant American wouldn't get?

As Casey Stengel once said ... you could look it up.

No it isn't a British thing, he was referring to Dick Cheney's liver spots. He's old and has a bad ticker, while he can handle canned hunts, I'd hate to see what would happen if he went up against a 350 lbs lineman.

I can tell you right now: the lineman would disappear off to Guantanamo Bay for the next seven years, and Cheney would shoot a lawyer in the face to celebrate this triumph of freedom and democracy. And, not to quibble, but to say the Phins have been playing like steamed pudding is an insult to steamed pudding everywhere.

Even this Royays fan has to admit that it must suck to be a Dolphins fan right now. I have picked them to score the least points in every game this season in NFL Pick-em, and have been right more times than I have been wrong.

How much buzz is the Dolphins/Giants game even generating in London?

I live in the heart of Patriots country and I had a customer come in with a dolphins hat on yesterday and I really had to fight not to say something (what loyalty you must have to stand by a team that terrible, etc.).

How much buzz is the Dolphins/Giants game even generating in London? i'm sure some of our UK-based SpoFites could give more insight, but it seems like quite a bit.

Rams are blackout locally, media is in pit bull mode and to make matters worst, pulled a fist full of hair out in the shower this morning. Hoping the football Gods look upon the Ram with pity against Cleveland on Sunday.

It hurt for a while, but a dose of penicillin cleared it up. (Why yes, I did bring something back from Europe. You see, I have this little rash...)

That George and Weezie (Ouisie?) reference gave me a horrible ohrwurm. Thanks for that.

There is absolutely no way that the Panthers lose to the Colts tomorrow. After all, the game is being played on the Panthers' home turf. /goes to look up the Panthers' recent home record... Oh shit, the Panthers are fucked.

Panthers got done, dude. Colts v. Pats ought to be the Super Bowl (says this 49ers/Giants fan).
