Match wits against Peyton Manning: and try out this addictive NFL trivia game. Caution: according to the "rulebook", side effects may include shattered ego, mind-numbing syndrome, the destruction of computer keyboard and/or loss of appetite.

Great post. I always like to see Manning in a game he has no business playing in. Currently 14-0.

I'm a fan of Peyton, but it was fun whipping him. Also, I liked "Hello. We can see you. Gross".

Did it take 25 minutes to load for you, too?

posted by yerfatma at 06:40 PM on September 14, 2007

It loaded in under a minute. Maybe 40 seconds. 25 minutes? I would'nt have had the patience.

Yeah, that was one heavy slow-loading advertisement. And sometimes the answers didn't line up with the questions. But I'm a trivia guy, and it's a nod in the right direction.

I was winning 33-12 and then it "suspiciously" started getting glitches and eventually froze. Must be created by Billicheck :-) After it froze, I started clicking around the stadium to try to get back control and when you'd click the crowds would do different chants, cat-calls, etc (like "Let's go, Man-ning"). I clicked on one and a woman said "we can see you. Gross." :-)

You better watch out. Certain SpoFites are a bit touchy about the Belichick issue at the moment. Especially if you spell his name wrong.

I drubbed Manning, 34-6, thus continuing (in my mind, anyway) the domination of the University of Florida over the University of Tennessee. In case you didn't know, UF beat Manning four straight years, and some of us still haven't let go of it. Leave me alone, man, this is all I have!

I also had the glitches pop up when I was about to close out a victory. I would click the correct answer, but would not get credited for the yardage, then the next time i was incorrect I would get the yardage...then it stopped all together. yym, I really wasn't trying to be touchy about the spelling of Belichick's name, I personally don't care for him much...it just drives me crazy when people are so lazy on their posts...why don't they just use BB and be done with it?

The comment was more directed at some of those who have shown little humor with the Belichick issue than it was at yourself.

Yeah, stop trying to steal comments directed at me. Jerk.

yym, I really wasn't trying to be touchy about the spelling of Belichick's name, I personally don't care for him much...it just drives me crazy when people are so lazy on their posts...why don't they just use BB and be done with it? It's not that surprising it's misspelled a lot. First, there is a Billick and a Belichick and some of us that don't follow either team get the names swapped some times, or worse combine the 2 spellings. Second, it's not like Sam or Ted, it's not an easy name to spell. Belichick, Billicheck, Bellicheck, there are a LOT of ways to misspell it. Third, people obviously know who we're talking about so why would someone waste time to do a search to find out how to accurately spell his name? Fourth, if I would have used BB in that post, who in the hell would have known what i was talking about?

I was going to comment that the aforementioned coach should just change the spelling of his name to Belicheck (which is the way that always seems to pop into my head until I remember its wrong) until I noticed the Sam Ted comment now I think he should just change his name to Bill SamTed and be done with it. As in check out this lovely meeting between Bill SamTed and Mangina.

Hahahaha, I'm guessing you mean Mangini, kyrimitch. Do a Google Image Search for "Mangina" to understand the difference. (Don't do it if you're at work.)

I beat Manning 35-6. Thus redeeming four thumpings of South Carolina while I was down there*. The opposite of Mr_Hand. Now pardon me while I google mangina. I think I'm going to regret this. *Yeah, it really doesn't redeem those thumpings. Manning's such a likable guy, but I just can't get over the asskickin's he handed my Cocks. Cocks and manginas in the same post. Yikes.

first of all, I apologize for apologizing for anything related to people too lazy to spell other people's names correctly. What the hell was I thinking, of course it's fine if you use Bilechick, Billachick, Billick, Billicheck, Billechick or any other combination of letters to mean Belichick. Lastly, with a username like SummersEve, you didn't really have to look up mangina did you?

I cheated. I recieved all my answers via precognizant video transfer from a magic troll in a hoodie. Much to the chagrin of a gentleman whose gender was not immediately discernible I spotted observing from the defensive sidelines. Was that a bowl of fruit?

you didn't really have to look up mangina did you? Never knew that's what it was called. And I wish I still didn't. Whenever I see Mangini I'm going to picture him dancing naked to "Goodbye Horses". Not good. Not good at all.
