Teams We Hate In This Year's NCAA Tournament:

Wow. That linked clip of Texas A&M fans storming the court in their empty arena to celebrate their ROAD victory over Kansas is one of the funniest things I have seen in quite some time.

Frankly, I don't think it was funny at all!

Hey, y'all still got your #1 seed and your rival fans look like dolts.

Yea Hawk the game at Allen wasn't funny. The fans storming the empty court and proving what morons they are was very funny. Besides we got the last laugh. Rock Chalk Jayahwk all the way

I think I have to disagree with Hawk on this one. That clip is a classic.

Here in Texas you either love or hate the Aggies of A&M. Its particularly odious that this institute of higher learning? has 2 schools in the Tourney. Its been said that less than half of the participants in the NCAA will graduate.I'm sure A&M is doing its share.

If you remove all of the agriculture studies students from the Basketball team how many players would you have? Not enough to play... so what does that tell you about the school? I wish my university had classes to learn about Chickens.... and did you have the same question on every exam? Which came first the chicken or the egg? How many got that right? Sorry, my comments refer to the comments on CostaaNow from last night where Antoine Wright made some nice comments.

Yes, those horrible, horrible bastards, coming out to watch a road game on the JumboTron, and apparently with their families! They should be out drinking or enjoying some fine date rape instead of watching their team end a 31-game losing streak to the Jayhawks and then enjoying it! Christ, find something else to whine about. Warstda, do this for me: 1) find a mirror 2) take a laptop in front of it 3) check the grammatical and capitalization errors in your post complaining about Texas A&M agricultural students 4) STFU Thankseversomuch.

If I were in their shoes, and finally beat a team I lost 31 straight games to, I'd storm the court if no one was there! I love the playoffs.

They hadn't lost 31 straight to KU. The south half of the conference had.

Scottypup "Got the last laugh"? I would think the last team standing in the tournament would get the last laugh, not a for a #1 seeding, which BTW isn't a guarantee you will go to the Final Four. A&M has a much better shot at the Final Four than Kansass.

>If you remove all of the agriculture studies students from the Basketball team For f***s sake, you act like this only happens at A&M. Stop kidding yourself. Texas Tech had a guy with a 0.0 play for a year on their basketball team. Andy katzenmoyer could barely f****** read when he left OSU. This is an NCAA athletics issue, not an A&M issue. Quote from http://www.enquirer.com/editions/1999/12/05/spt_why_james_cant_read.html "Wayne Yates, formerly the basketball coach at Memphis State, once claimed an academic counselor had told him he “could keep a cockroach eligible for two years.” Andy Katzenmoyer maintained his standing at Ohio State with a cockroach curriculum featuring golf, music appreciation and AIDS awareness."

Storming an empty court? Big deal. After the Maryland Terrapins won it all a few years ago, students rushed the empty football field and tore down the goalposts. Now that's stupid. And yet, somehow, absolutely brilliant. Go Terps!

Thanks for the post pholcomb. I didn't know that. I'm shur gettin' a gud egukashun on sportsfiltr. It's just blows me away that these guys can't read, and can play ball with those classes and gpa's. Hey, this year Duke makes my top ten also. Go VCU! I would love to see them go out in the 1st round!

It is not only Duke. When you see so many favorites winning, there has got to be a problem. That means NIT teams got seeds 9-16, and probably all or most 1 and 2 seed NIT teasm should be in the Dance.

Teams I hate in general are Michigan State and Notre Dame. Combine there losing with Tommy Amaker being fired and it has been a good past few days.

The thought that Duke's resume would have resulted in an NIT birth and NCAA snub if it had belonged to another team is so stupid that it's laughable.
