There isn't enough news here to justify a front-page post.

Go #20 Tony Stewart.

Unless Kasey shakes off his run of bad luck, he won't get in. I don't see where Biffle will get in either. The top 10, the way you see it now, just might be the 10 for the Championship.

I think it will end up about the same order as it is now. i do take issue with them listing Gordon, Stewart and Earnhart as the three biggest names in the sport, where is Jimmy Johnson? He has only lead in points for the greater portion of the last three years. Has more wins in that time than any of these 3. That being said though should be a fun 5 races coming up.

The reason Jimmy isn't listed is because he hasn't learned to seal the deal. Leading the points and winning races is one thing but you have to win Championships. I know Earnhardt hasn't won a Championship but he, himself is a draw.

The reason Jimmie isn''t listed ... Were he not consistantly in, then he would be listed. Fan or not, one has to admit that Jimmie is a good driver and represents the best, certainly one of the three or four best, teams which has the bucks and has had the bucks throughout the years. It is a great combination. The media types want him to win the championship so badly that we may expect mass suicide at several sports desks if this is not his year. There is that rascally Matt Kenseth, however, and he has about the same going for him as does Jimmie, except he ain't the media sweetheart. The media can make a lot of excuses but they have trouble making the wins. Sticking to the question, it looks like Jimmie and Matt will be in and it makes little or no difference who else. Jimmie and Matt will decide the championship.
