I'll tell you what the problem is, Grrl. Your inability to use a spellchecker or a dictionary reflects on all of us, because newcomers finding SpoFi for the first time will look at that atrocious FPP and think, "Wow, if people don't care enough to even spellcheck, this site must suck." I have no beef with you personally, and being a big Bears backer, I love your name. But for God's sake, if you have a question about the usage or spelling of a word, save us all trying to translate and look it up.

"FLAME" on bitch!!! Wow. Can't we all just get along? Can't we all just use a dictionary? Everyone makes an occasional mistake in spelling and grammar, myself included. One of the reasons I originally began participating on this site, however, was because the contributors, overall, DO come across a bit more appropriately. With more and more people joining in all the time, I hope the quality doesn't go completely out the window. It doesn't take much for adults to proof what they write prior to posting. As for the story, even though it's a joke, in this day and age, I wouldn't even be shocked if it DID happen.

And your over-the-top response (calling people "asshole" and "bitch" when they point out your painfully obvious mistakes) makes you look petulant and churlish. Just for the record, I did contribute to the post. Grrrlacher, it isn't just one typo, its the fact that you have not been typing well of late, and when people point it out you freak out. A typo here and there is okay as long as you don't do it repeatively, but in your case you start bitching and don't even bother to try typing intelligently.

POST RELATED COMMENT- Good on Mattie for doing what he wants to do. Just because he was a kick ass college football player the next logical step may not be the NFL. Matt obviously has some very real commitment to this ballroom dancing noise. NON-POST RELATED COMMENT- Grrrr, you should expect a little good natured ribbing when you fuck up on a public forum. I doubt the intention was malicious. Chill out, take some reds, smoke some grass and take the intensity down a notch. PS I just use an online dictionary for those $50 words I hear but don't know how to spell and most of my posting during the work hours.

Grrl, I bitch because I love. This is my favorite site on the web, and I want it to stay that way. Having "emphamy" on the front page -- which is not a typo; you weren't even in the goddamned ballpark -- lessens the quality of this site. If your problem is laziness, get less lazy. If your problem is not having time to do it at work, do it from home or make more time. If your problem is a lack of education, get a dictionary. As Ying said, sharing your opinion and your thoughts is perfectly fine, but you can't then just duck away from the responses, especially if your thoughts are poorly explained and/or worded. And throwing out "asshole" several times doesn't help. I'm done.
