Hidden: Why do personal business on my own time?: I realize the Monday reporting date was not mandatory, but when you make nearly $20 million a year and have been off for nearly a year, can't you come up with something better than "personal business"? Your fans take care of personal business on Saturdays!

Well his personal business probably has something to do with the custody battle he is in with his ex-wife and everyone goes to court during the week cause they are not open on weekends. Bonds revealed he and his ex-wife, Sun, are engaged in a custody battle over their teenaged son, Nikolai, and that he might have to leave spring training to attend court hearings. Could we not have included this in the other Bonds threads that are already on the front page.

Bonds should just go away, so after awhile people would forget him. He changes his mind more times then a little kid at a candy store.

If Bonds passes gas are we gonna have to hear about that too? Enough about that prima dona already. The previous post's of the past few months have revealed that most of us despise the jerk.....

I wonder what drug-testing rules the WBC is subject to? Is "Boot-Up Barry" and others more worried about IOC style testing than embarrassing themselves on the center stage ie: errors and pulled hamstrings and pop-outs or strikeouts? Why not play for your country? Just ask our Olympic ice-dancing team(not the NHLers)

The fact remains, he has never tested positive though in many minds he is more guilty than those who have been found positive. Where is the hate really coming from?? You don't like him as a person? When did you meet him and sit down and develop your hate due to your personal interaction with him? Or is because of what you read regardless of the source? I have to question the "real" reason why people hate him and more so why they have no appreciation for the obvious skills that he does have. I just hope ESPN or whoever you are watching gives you "haters" a heads up to look away when they show the replay of him braking Ruth's record and when/if he does brake Aaron's, would hate to have you watch and if you do watch even once, you are all full of the same BS you call him.

I realize the Monday reporting date was not mandatory So why do you think this requires a thread about it? "Of course everything Barry Bonds says gets multiplied and is huge," shortstop Omar Vizquel said. "People tend to talk about everything and every comment he makes. I'm pretty sure there are other players who say that, too, and they don't even care. `You are? OK, good luck.'" I assume we'll be getting threads about all the other players that didn't show up early. No?

There's already a Bonds thread that's still active.
