Grandma Luge.: Anne Abernathy, 52, US Virgin Islands luger is competing in her sixth Olympics. Affectionately nicknamed "Grandma Luge" in recognition of her age, she has broken several records: first in any Olympics to use an onboard camera during a race, first to create a blog during the Games. She races on Monday and Tuesday in her new lime-green suit.

Darn - I was actually rooting for her to do good. I like a good story and she brings one to the table.

I hope she is able to work through the pain and participate.

It is a very strange story, yet even funnier.

I'm sorry for what happened but If GRANDMA can't compete we still owe her a standing O because many of us younger than her don't have the Balls to try it.

Now many people beleieve that the Lombardi Trophy should have been given to Mick Jagger for dancing like that at age 52. I know a singer who sings and dances like that here, we think he's close to 70. By the way, I know someone who's grandfather died at age 130. He first to came to America in 1846, to California Territory.
