Why dont we wait until there is a currant article on the subject? Its way to early to name a MIP

I don't see what good an article about a lesser known fruit (currant) would do

Smush Parker would get my vote, but then again i watch the Lakers almost every game.

This is about as close to a no-link post as you can get.

I'd think this was a self-post except who'd want to point out that work? It's missing an Under Construction graphic.

I want to like this post. I haven't followed league-wide NBA basketball this year as much as I should but these historical lists are interesting in my book. On the flip side; a more fleshed out FPP would garner more attention/discussion especially if the link was current (hell, even the wikipedia article would have been better) and/or more contextual links were provided (that's my soft-spot for MeFi coming out again, though). I thought it was interesting that players from the Bullets and Magic from '91 to '01 won 6 out of the 11 awards. Also, I got a good laugh out of the fact that Georghe Muresan won the award in 95-96. I think that was what really set him on the road to the Hollywood blockbuster "My Giant" and, maybe (if we're lucky) Springfield, Mass.

This is the bounciest and spinniest home page ever. It's rather hypnotic.

By astonishing coincidence, I'd just come up with an early installment of MIP. Here are the leaders: Parker,Smush West,David Diaw,Boris Brand,Elton Camby,Marcus Wade,Dwyane Davis,Ricky Bosh,Chris Howard,Dwight Pierce,Paul Stevenson,Deshawn Redd,Michael The proper way to select MIP is to start at the top and reject players for one reason or another. Eventually you arrive at your boy.

This has got to be a self-link. Having said that, though, I liked the little write-up about the King Charles Troupe. You can find more information right here, but I know I'd pay good money to see these fellows. It beats the donkey crap out of, well, this.

"This is the bounciest and spinniest home page ever." c'mon, how can you talk this post down? the site won the "lightspan study web academic excellence award."

I really didn't want to use a link, I just wanted to know who everyone was thinking on the MIP award. Don't worry about the link so much, and just discuss the topic. My picks in order: Smush Parker Elton Brand David West TJ Ford Boris Diaw

my picks Boris Diaw David West Smush Parker

David West is most improved. He went from being a 6ppg, 4rpg, 0.18apg, donut-dunker to 16.0ppg,7.3rrg,1.5apg monster dunker. He's got my vote.

Without a doubt David should get a raise from And1.
