Dance on the Web: CBS announced today a terrorist plot to destroy North American corporations but not until next March.

And I was excited last year when CBS made highlights available. This makes so much sense that thinking about it makes my head hurt. I'll be interested to see productivity numbers for March.

wow, that sounds fantastic, but only out of market games? what's the rationale for that?

They'd rather you watch the games on the TV than on the internet.

Finally. And truly awesome. If I had a favorite team, or a region that was underserved I'd be ecstatic. But I don't, so I'll probably watch whatever game they'll broadcast.

Very smart. Hopefully other online broadcasters will follow suit (I'm looking at you, Bud).

Great idea. I was actually dumb enough to pay for the On Demand shit. I just hope I can actually get some work accomplished during the Madness. Now, if other sports would only do the same....oh well, dare to dream.

I have used this the last couple of years. Even when they charged, it wasnt much (10 or $20 i think) and it beats the HELL out of going to a sportsbar and trying to see your game on one little screen through the crowd of drunk dumbasses. The picture is suprisingly good and there werent any major technical problems. There is a delay of a few minutes from the TV broadcast, though, so I found that when i watched another game on TV, the score update on the upper right would end up showing the score of my game ahead of what I had seen so far on the computer. I ended up putting a post-it over that part of the TV.

Move to the Philiipines. Free to air Final Four. No-one gets any work done as TVs are brought into the office. Definitely an out-of-market experience.

Philiipines Whoops! Sorry, but you can work it out, I'm sure.

Owl, the Final Four are cleared nationally as are the Elite Eight. It's the first weekend's games (and maybe the second Thursday/Friday) that cause problems since they overlap. Also, I think the Manila-USA airfare would be a lot more cash than PPV but the point of this article is that from this March all matches will be available either over air or web.
