Hidden: Just more non news: that people are making a big deal about because of relatives.
Sad story. Why is this story here. nyfan posts a story about the son of Red Sox broadcaster--so that makes the yankees better?? the Red Sox worse? Its a story about a man with a problem. This is a story that happens many times over everyday. Lets not make this a "red Sox suck" type of story.....please

A man with a problem? I would think the girl involved is the one with problem, what with being thrown to the ground, kicked and punched by Captain Courageous here. Please don't tell me we're getting soft on woman-beaters. The guy's a gutless scumbag and shouldn't be lumped in with those who have real troubles.

I didn't infer any hatred toward the Red Sox because of the post. The poster stated himself that it is a non-story and is only relvant because who the abuser is related to. True enough, this type of thing happens everyday. However, sad as it may be, it only becomes "newsworthy" when the accused or the victim is some sort of celebrity. At least it brings it to the forefront of the public conscience from time to time and hopefully move people to do something about it. Don't hate nyfan for posting, thank him.

im not trying to say any teams better than anyone else, im just trying to say that the story happens everywhere to everyone, but since it happens to a famous guys son, it gets more attention...if it happened to anyone else, it wouldnt be known outside that town.
