What a far cry from watching the little kid run out and hug his teary-eyed Dad at 1B after #4,192 ! If this doesn't fall under the category of "what the f are you thinking?!", I don't know what does.

Aim High, Pete Jr.! That is, when you get in your first prison fight, aim high. What kind of a moron tries to push steroid-lites on athletes after all of the scrutiny this year?

If only his dad had a way to make some quick cash to bail him out???????

What kind of a moron tries to push steroid-lites on athletes after all of the scrutiny this year? I suspect genetics is at fault...

What kind of a moron tries to push steroid-lites on athletes after all of the scrutiny this year? Not disagreeing with the "moron" part, but it seems to have happened a few years ago. Thus, I can only give him a 6 on the moron scale. If he'd gotten busted this year, it'd definitely be worth an 8.

Wow..... I hope Jr. dosent decide to have kids- lol. They would have gambling problems, drug problems, and a hell of alot of lawsuits, and courtcases. :)

I played ball with Jr. He is as genuine as it gets. What he did was legal at the time. He really isn't anything like his dad. He takes after mom. Kind of naive. I don't think what he did was right, but I think he got caught up in something he didn't know much about, as far as consequences. He does now. And the court will decide his fate, and he will deal with it like a grown man. Which puts him way ahead of his old man. So don't make comparisons without having the knowledge or the actual fatcs.

he got caught up in something he didn't know much about, as far as consequences poor guy, I feel so bad for him, getting "caught up" and all, how could he have known it was illegal? I better start watching out, I don't want to accidently get "caught up."

Nice comment rdust. It's only GHB. It's being recreationally taken all over the country, at least on the coasts and cities. Its an amino acid which is allready in our bodies, thats all. We have this in us. You can drink one to four teaspoons depending on your body weight and it makes you feel like you had a six pack of beer or so. You take four teaspoons when you should have had two, all that happens is you fall asleep. Thats where the daterape sh*t comes in. There are people who use it for bad stuff. But that is with everything. For one thing girls need to be careful about what they drink. GHB also tastes like ocean water. It has an over the top salty taste. Bottom line is it's an amino acid with which we got in our bodies already , and it is not harmful to us in any way. When you over dose on it you don't die, you fall asleep. Basically, watch what you drink, and stop punk rapers by choking them out one by one as you hear of it, in macho stories that are told, here and there after the fact, where ever. I tried it a couple times but it doesn't go well with weed smoke, just makes you throw up, definetely not for me then. Out

Like father like son. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. All the cliches seem to fit. rdust, he knows the rules. If anyone should be a student of the rules, it should be the Rose family. Dad got "caught up" in the rules. Son should know better. Read the rules before you start peddling steriod alternatives to your teammate. The "I didn't know theory" didn't work to well for Barry "steroid freak" Bonds and it won't work to well Pete "the peddler" Bonds Jr.

Sorry that is Pete "the Peddler" Rose jr.

If only Pete Sr. didnt gamble away all of his money, he might have enough for the bond....

I was really hoping this was a site for those who use knowledge and facts. Not just opinions. Jr. didn't know it was illegal, because it wasn't illegal when he did it. He simply has come forward after it has been made illegal. The " Like father like son" comment obviously comes from someone who is not close to the family. Jr. is momma's boy. He tried to be like dad, for dad, but wasn't into it like his dad. So, if I drive 65 mph on the interstate, and 2 years from now they reduce the speed limit to 55 mph again, am I going to get a ticket for how fast I drove today? Get your facts straight folks. I love opinions, but base them on something.

rdust, I looked into it, a little, seems it was being sold over the counter as a supplement all over by people who didn't know it was illegal. All that was aked of them was that they quit selling it. Guess their name wasn't Pete Rose Jr.
