The NBA Draft.: It looks like both the Cavs and the Hornets are willing to trade Andre Miller and Baron Davis, respectively. Are you serious? My dream draft day move for the Pacers: trade Jamaal Tinsley, Austin Croshere, and Ron Mercer, as well as their draft pick, for Andre Miller or Baron Davis. Of course, that will never happen. Any reports from your team's headquarters? Any delusional wishes?

I love love love love the NBA draft. It ranks right up there with many major sporting events for me. I've been looking forward to tonight more than any World Cup game. I like to see chaos on draft night, tons of trades, back stabbing, people sitting it out in the green room (that is until they got rid of the green room). I think the nba should make a reality tv show out of the draft, take all the potential lottery picks and put them in a house in the months leading up to the draft, bring teams there to watch them work out. Things I would like to see tonight: Andre Miller going to the Clips. I know they might want Baron Davis more, but they have enough ball hogs in LA, then need someone that will average 10+ assists a game. Get rid of Odom if they have to, I have my doubts that he will ever live up to his potential. I would like to see Yao Ming drop. As one guy on sporting news radio says, he's a freaking marshmellow. I'd like to see the rockets take Jay and trade him, or even better keep him. Stevie would pout a little, but he'd be okay in the end, plus they'd win more games. I want at least one person to try and come close to wearing an awesome suit like the one Karl Malone wore when he was drafted. I want Charles to say some great oneliners or something about the state of the NBA tonight just so EJ can sweat some and try to cut away from him. I want to see the Bulls blow thier pick again. Picking Yao if he's there should do the trick. I want to see Juan Dixon taken in the first round and then laughing at all the people who passed on him in a few years.

I second the hope that Charles Barkley says something uncomfortably amusing. If he could say it in a Karl Malone style suit, so much the better.

Also, I would like to see Jay Williams go to Memphis, partially so he can play with Shane Battier, but mostly because I don't like the Bulls.

Jay Williams in Memphis would be cool. I'd like to see the Blazers get Baron Davis, the Kandiman, Latrell Sprewell, Chris Webber, Dikembe and Gary Payton and Hilario (via trading up) in trades for Sean Kemp, Scottie Pippen, Damon Stoudamire, Dale Davis and #21.

I think Washington did really well to pick up Jared Jeffries and Juan Dixon. Caron Butler slipping to number ten is a total steal for Miamia. If Mourning and Grant are healthy next year, they could be a force to be reckoned with.

The only problem with draft night is that once they're drafted I'm like "GO!!! PLAY RIGHT NOW!!! how many months until they play???" I think they should just have a court set up right there and pick teams. Oh, what's with Dunleavy going so high? I just don't see it.

The Bulls had a good draft this year, even if it was an all-ACC draft. : ) I was frightened that Jerry Krause was going to do something to pick up Yao Ming, but I am glad to see he didn't. I'm actually getting excited about the Bulls this season.

I'm also back on the Bull's bandwagon, at least for now. I happen to be moving back to Chicago in the next month (after being away for three years), so now is as good as time as any to start rooting for the Bulls again (although the Jerrys make it less enjoyable). But I'm really excited to see the Pacers next year. I was actually quite pleased by their surprise pick of Fredrick Jones. Mostly, I'm persuaded by the PR of the Pacers, but I trust Walsh and Thomas, who have had a lot of success with their picks in the past (e.g., Thomas in Toronto picked Stoudamire and McGrady).
