Germany vs. Korea Republic.: Can't wait for the final now.
At least Ballack got the goal, he won't be playing in the final.

I want Germany to defeat Brazil in the finals, so that in 2006 they will be the defending champions and the host nation. I'm sure FIFA would like that too, given that it would smooth the fact that this year's winners would otherwise have to qualify for 2006. (Something that I suspect France now regrets, having suffered from excessive reliance on friendlies.) Frankly, though, I'd sooner chew my foot off than see the Germans win, particularly given that they've had a piss-easy draw, and barely deserved to qualify for the finals. (That said, should two unlikely things happen, and Turkey beat Germany in the final, I fear the worst.)

Rather them than Brazil, etagloh. I'll support Germany against Brazil but Turkey against Germany. That, by the way, would be a grudge match. And possibly a riot, if Turkey would win.

Slightly disappointed that it was such a low scoring game, but as they say whether you won by 1 goal or 15, it doesn't matter as long as you won. I want Germany to defeat Brazil in the finals, so that in 2006 they will be the defending champions and the host nation.
