Shaquille O'Neal: finds a way to make me feel bad for hating him (version 2.0)

Shaq is going to run the country, I'm telling you. He will make Bill Bradley look like the Carlos Arroyo of athlete-politicians. Good news is, I love him. I think he's the model of what a insane superstar should be.

How does this guy find the time to be helping hurricane victims in New Orleans and protecting civil liberties in Miami, all in the same week? Of course, he is on vacation. But hell, my vacations don't usually involve fighting crime and saving the universe. What a guy. I sure hope he gets another ring before Kobe does. But I'm not in love with the moves the Heat have made this offseason (Antoine Walker).

I still hate him. I just have more respect for him. I also agree that he deserves to win much more than the well over-rated Kobe. I will say that I know a few folks with year round full time jobs who were able to get away and go help down in the deep south too. So I'm not as much impressed by that. He has matured compared to when he first came into the league and that is good for all who look up to him {which is almost everyone}.

The thing I like about Shaq off the court is he seems to me to be doing everything he does because he truly loves police work. He's not trying to be politically correct or build a good public persona. He has said numerous times had he not been a ball player he would have gone into law enforcement. Don't think we'll ever see him doing undercover work though.

I'd pay to see a debate between Shaq and Bush, neither can speak clearly and it would just be damned funny to watch. Shaq as a cop would be damned scary, unless you were on foot since you know he's got no hustle! Scottypup, I highly doubt that Shaq will get the undercover prostitute sting work either. Unless its for a skit on Saturday Night Live. Shaq in drag or is that draq? Shaq in Draq (sounds like a gay vampire movie).

Yes, Shaq is, indeed, a superman!

Man, what CAN'T this guy do? (besides hustle) I've always been a Shaq fan, and this just makes me admire the guy that much more.

Shaq is a great guy, I met him in Orlando when he first came into the league, at a small place call Splash, on a Sunday night Reggea nite. I just loved the way he made time for all his fans and still made time for himself to have fun. I also loved his SUPERMAN Chevy Suburban, that was rocking machine. But, back to the subject Shaq has always been a fans dream, He doesn't care what your race, creed or whatever else people judge people with. Shaq always treats everyone the same, he is truly a great man. # 8 will never be the man Shaq is, unless he changes his ways. Tim Drury Kapolei, Hawaii

Wow-does he walk on water too????

One place he is training to do undercover work is on the internet. I read where he is learning to do pedophile stings. Kind funny to think of Shaq undercover as a 13 year old suburban girl.

Here is a picture of Shaq in his Miami Beach Police gear.

Mayerkyl, that was the post-Miami Vice uniform period when they were trying anything without socks and sports coats.
