He's Back! Paul Shirley on the Playoffs: Our favorite benchwarmer is back writing about the Suns' playoff run: I went to the game in something of a malaise. I will admit that our games begin to run together for me as I have not played in so long that I have begun to consider neglecting to wear a uniform beneath my warm-up gear.

this man needs to replace bill walton and snapper jones and tom tolbert and everyone but Steve Kerr i yearn for the glib commentary of Shirley during play by play.

Well, I don't think Paul has to worry if his contract isn't renewed. I think Bill Simmons might have to worry though.

At the half, Coach D’Antoni did his best to stoke the fires and it seemed to work as we began the second half with a higher level of focus on the task at hand. (I was trying to put as many clichés in one sentence as I could. How did I do?) I like this guy.
