NYR-East: bounced in first round. Stephane & David Canseco. What is being lost. And isn't this guy's site like the theory that you can never reach point A from point B, but only infinitely cut the distance by half. (worst explanation in the history of explanations)

I just saw a piece on the news last night about the Kazan team. I didn't know the playoffs were on. I feel kind of sorry for the fans of the team. The players were drafted in to basically buy a title honouring the 1000th anniversary of the city. Once every thousand years I can get behind buying a title. Guess it didn't work out. In watching the piece on TV I wondered who the black goaltender was. All I could think of was Fred Braithwaite but had no idea that he was over there. And he gets the call over the Stanley Cup winning Khabibulin in the final game. Well, the team lost 2-1 so you can't get on Freddie's back too badly (assessment of the 2 goals he allowed notwithstanding) for only allowing a pair of goals when the firepower on the team couldn't score two.

Hey, I hear they're going to get a deal in time for an abbreviated 12-game summer season, with 18 rounds of playoffs, with rollerblades ready if the ice is too mushy.
