The Unkindest Cut of All: After the AFC Championship, Bill Belichick waived defensive back Antwan Harris, costing him a bonus of at least $36,000 and a chance for a ring. He hasn't even replaced him, leaving a roster spot open.
The open roster spot, and the Eagles signing of that journeyman tight end, make me wonder: What's the downside to Belichick finding some recent retiree like Shannon Sharpe and signing him for this game, assuming he's in close to game shape? Perhaps not for an offensive or defensive role, but what about a special teamer like Brian Mitchell?

Why the prick move by Belichick in the first place? Was Harris a disruption in the locker room?

Well, this is an odd thing, but keep in mind Harris had only been signed 11 days before he was cut and that they didn't play him in either the Colts game or the Steelers game. Still, absolutely bizarre.

Sign Stephen A. Smith and get him in the locker room alone for about 5 minutes. Ask him to explain coherent football strategy whilst being beaten about the head, neck and chest in a loosely-defined hazing ritual.

I have to agree with "Dusted"this has to be about the craziest thing I have ever heard of right before a Game especially the Superbowl....Instant Karma should prevail I also give one here to the Eagles scorecard.

I'd say it is still tied. karma point to eagles. -1 point to eagles for getting the NFC champ game under their belt, but that's as far as they'll go this year. Belicheck's Pats are just too good.....or not.
