'O.J. Simpson plans to root like crazy at the Orange Bowl.': He's suspending his search for the real killers long enough to attend the game.

His attorney, Yale Galanter, monitored the telephone call and wouldn't allow Simpson to say where he'll be sitting inside the stadium. I don't think he'll be very hard to find.

But will he drive the pacesetter car in the parade? Oh, wait, that's the Rose Bowl...

That article is worth it just for the pullquote: "He's the type of athlete that you can't defend. He scares me to death."

OJ who????

I stick to apple juice, because OJ will kill you...get it?? Huh? His attorney monitored the telephone call? I take it all back, he's totally innocent of any wrong doing...great football player, off the field he is only rivaled by Rae Carruth? Or some might say Ray Lewis. He's very close to catching the real killers, as soon as he announced he was going to the game, he got a lead that the real killer was going to be there at the Orange Bowl...

I always suspected Bob Stoops.

Damn man, that was men v. boys tonight. Stupid Auburn and their stupid game against the Citadel. Maybe in the future they'll not schedule anymore I-AA games, 'cause that would've been a good game tonight. SC v. Auburn that is.

I invited three friends over to watch the game, as the token Okie of my scene. Two left at halftime. The other left about 5 mins into the third quarter. Even after this, I'm still stymied by UT signing Mack Brown to a ten year contract.

Damn, I really hoped for more post-(non) game reaction. So I presume that most are cool with: 1)USC 2)Auburn 3)Oklahoma 4)Texas ??? That's where I see it going. I can't see either the AP or the Coaches Poll picking UT over OU since Ok blanked UT earlier in the year. Anyone? Bueller?

It could have been worse for Oklahoma. They could have been Ashlee Simpson.

How about undefeated Utah?

If Oklahoma plays like shit, you must acquit?? and might I second that UTAH?

Put Utah ahead of Texas. Boy, as a USC alum, that was fun to watch. The Sooners, WTF, that's two years in a row they get blown away in anational title game. If Leinert returns for his senior season, the Trojans are odds-on favorites for a threepeat!

"Put Utah ahead of Texas." Stewart Mandel agrees. As do I.

/me genuflects.... yes, I forgot Utah (it's not like I forgot Poland!). Pity, that. I'm just glad that we, for once, seem to have a clear nat'l champion.
