The next time you have to listen to how terrible Ron Artest is: remind the fool in question that Bird, Kareem and MJ liked to mix it up too.
The great NBA fights, minus the obvious recent hullaballoo, to the tune of Bone.

What? No Charles Barkley? I remember when we thought Kurt Rambus and Kevin McHale were thugs. What the hell were we thinking?

... that Bird, Kareem and MJ liked to mix it up too. With fans?

Kareem did fight Bruce Lee. And Kevin McHale was never a thug.

What rcade said. oh, plus, "uh-duh!"

Bird? Kareem? MJ? Please, they're a bunch a pussies. I give you the Bad Boys of the 1980s. Damn straight.

Welcome back, FCT!

Damn straight NoMich...I'll take the 1989 version of Laimbeer and Mahorn versus any 2 other players in a steel cage match...

Laimbeer and Mahorn was a mighty powerful duo no doubt, with Mahorn being the lynchpin. But how would Bump an Thump compare?

How much do the tight shorts play into a preference for the Bad Boys? Damn tight. And I was thinking forks shows up here to share a link despite being in the midst of a move. What a trooper.

the players weren't up in the stands to conduct a survey about popcorn flavours.

They could've been up there for that. It was just a really violent survey is all.

Ah... God Bless Hockey. Or whatever sport that was. Nice link.

I watched the video in the original link again, and there's no way the guy the compiled this video did any real research into NBA fights. Hell, I can think of 4 Pistons fights off the top of my head that weren't in that video: 1) Lamb and Horn tag-teaming Barkley when he was with Philly 2) Isiah Thomas jumping up up to clock Bill Cartwright in the face, and breaking his hand on the subsequent trip to the floor 3) Isiah (again) taking a swing at his friend/lover Magic in a game in the season after the Pistons swept the Lakers 4) Mahorn going apeshit on the Chicago bench (coaches and all) back in the Pistons/Bulls heyday Plus there's Karl Malone's elbow on Isiah that erupted into a shoving match, Rodman shoving Pippen into the net support, and countless slapping fights involving everyone from the Bab Boys era except Joe D. Hell, the Bad Boys could make a "Best Fights" video just on their footage... BTW, I'll post links if I find them...

If I recall, in his heyday, Dr. J wouldnt shy away from a fight. I think it was a holdover from his ABA Days! To me, Artest is just a spoiled punk!

See, what caught my attention was the MUSIC. I love the pissed Kobe giving dap to the fans while "rollin wit' THUGS" plays in the background. So classic.
