Bum of the month: In yet another comeback, Mike Tyson is to fight Britains Danny Willams, who is distinguished mainly by having lost to Julius Francis, who sold advertising space on the soles of his shoes when he fought Tyson. Will anybody actually part with real money to witness this freak show?

I feel oddly priviliedged to have lived my life throughout the entire Tyson career - from unbeatable to unforgiveable. Strange creature - a mutant breed; never meant for mass-production. Prediction: Wins this fight - dead before 2010.

Of all athletes, I feel the most pity for Mike Tyson. I find him and his story depressing.

I'll never understand how some people can accrue millions and millions of dollars, only to lose it all. What the heck did he spend it on? I suspect he wasn't a finance major.

I have enormous sympathy for Tyson, although I wouldn't want the bugger moving in next door. At every turn, he seems to have lost the plot or taken the wrong advice and he has ended up a sad, broken individual. It's a shame.

come on...he's as entertaining as michael jackson, in a grotesque/car crash kind of way. I'd buy the PPV, if I hear his facial tatooing is complete.

Personally, I'm waiting for the Tyson/ Dredrick Tatum/ Secretariat bout.

What the heck did he spend it on? Don King's wallet. And I find this post's title to be deceptive.
