I think, Jason, you're looking for this thread. As for a female coach, I think the biggest problem will be respect from the players. I know that's sad, but it's a fact.

why give the job to someone so young? why not an established female coach or an ex-pro player at the very least? i think the respect from the players may come a little easier if the coach was someone who has proven themselves as capable of running a team.

Ashley's bio. No championships, it looks like, at the college level. To goddam's point: Why not hire someone who at least has parallel experience? Pure gimmickry I think. Good for some national and international media exposure. All the best to McElhiney. I hope she gets as much out of it as the team does.
