The Bills have released 31 year old LeSean McCoy. In favor of ageless Frank Gore, who was drafted into the NFL during the Bush administration.

I should clarify: during the administration of George W. Bush, not his father George H.W. Bush, for the benefit of those who might wonder about which Bush presidency I was referring to, which is a legitimate matter of curiosity.

There are descendants of Woodrow Wilson who swear that Gore entered the league during their ancestor's second term in office.

I hereby attest that Frank Gore was not playing in the NFL prior to the date of my birth in 1941.

Sworn to this 31st day of August in the Year of our Lord, 2019.

Howard, are you using the Gregorian calendar or the Gorian calendar?

When I hear "Gorian" I think of science fiction fans keeping women chained in their basements.

Well, I guess I'll have to sub in Franciscan for Gorian. Or perhaps San Franciscan.

But not Buffalonian. Or Indianapolitan, or Dadecian.

Since it's not up yet and I'm not sure I'll be online in time tomorrow, for my CFL picks, I'll go Saskatchewan by 3 over Winnipeg.

Frank Gore. Inflicts pain, doesn't accept it.
