Thanks rcade. I've been suffering through withdraws. Not a good sight.

From the hold my beer department:

What do Supreme Court Justices do in their free time? Some have book clubs or movie night. But for the younger members who yearn for something livelier, now there's a place where you can drink till you hurl.

This is from a Twitter post from Bill Simmons about the 9th inning of last night's Red Sox vs Yankees game:

That felt like every demon of my childhood and young adulthood came out of the attic, sat on the sofa and watched the 9th inning with me.

It very accurately reflects how it was at my house. I suppose that the series win just couldn't have been valid without it nearly having been blown.

Really? As I was watching all those young, hopeful, wishing-against-wish Yankee fans in the crowd, I paused thusly

But then I remembered that 4th of July that Ron Guidry broke my heart and just laughed.
