What a day for Mbappe! That kid was everywhere, and that first run from the French half where he blew past everyone before getting taken down by Rojo (who should have been shown rojo) was very impressive.

Also, is exchanging jerseys after World Cup matches no longer a thing? I hadn't seen it in other matches, though Fox has been jumping back to the studio right after matches ended, so I wasn't sure if maybe I missed it, but Argentina and France aren't doing it. I always thought that was a pretty cool thing for players to do and kind of wished it caught on with other sporting events.

No more cutaway shots of Maradona pleading like the persistent widow to endure.

When Argentina was improbably ahead 2-1, why didn't they park the bus?

Argentine havehad a terrible coach and with his attacking strength and defensive weakness I'm not sure parking would've workedhad a chance in hell against the French attack.
